Story
🐾 MEET BRYNN! 🐾
Brynn is a 4-year-old, 23-pound standard Dachshund who has figured out exactly what she wants out of life—and it’s YOU. ❤️
Brynn is good with other dogs, but honestly… she could care less about them. 😂 She’s not looking for a doggy playmate or wrestling partner. She’s perfectly content to simply coexist with her canine friends.
People are where Brynn’s heart is. Big people, little people—it doesn’t matter. If there is an empty spot next to you, that’s where Brynn will be. Sitting on the couch? She’s beside you. Sitting down? She’ll be at your feet. She just wants to be close to her people. 🥰
And when she isn't following her favorite humans around, Brynn has a few other priorities:
☀️ Sunbathing
🛋️ Being close to her people
🗣️ Having someone talk sweet to her
🛏️ BURROWING UNDER A BLANKET
Yes, this little Dachshund is a professional blanket burrower. Give her a cozy blanket and she will happily disappear underneath it. 😂❤️
She is:
✨ Crate trained
✨ House trained
✨ Dog-door trained
✨ Good on leash
✨ Not barky at all
✨ Low to moderate energy
✨ Wonderful in the home
✨ Good with other dogs, but prefers to simply coexist
Brynn absolutely LOVES being talked to sweetly. You can tell her what a pretty girl she is all day long, and she will happily soak it up. ❤️
We do want her future family to know that Brynn appears to have had some bad experiences with being grabbed roughly by her collar. If someone grabs at her collar unexpectedly or too forcefully, she may squeal and try to get away. Because of that, she would do best with respectful older children who understand that she needs gentle handling.
And one more important Dachshund reminder! 🐶❤️
Those adorable long backs come with a little extra responsibility. Dachshunds are prone to back and spinal injuries, so jumping on and off furniture and repeated stair use should be limited as much as possible. Her family should help her avoid unnecessary jumping and keep her at a healthy weight to help protect that long little back.
Brynn isn't looking for a busy household or a pack of dogs to entertain her. She wants her people, a cozy blanket, a sunny spot, and a place close enough to keep an eye on you.
Honestly, she sounds pretty perfect. ❤️
Could Brynn be your little shadow—and your new blanket burrito? 🌯🐾
