Story
Cartel is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix with a big personality packed into a small frame. This playful little guy is full of energy, charm, and a dash of mischief! He loves playing with other dogs, is great with kids, and is always up for a game of fetch or a good chew on his favorite toys and bones (though fair warning—he’s not big on sharing and has been known to sneak off with his buddy Levi’s goodies!). Cartel is crate trained, house trained, and has excellent mealtime manners—he never misses a meal! When he's not romping around, you'll likely find him soaking up the sun, living his best life as a little sunbather. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with a sweet side and a bit of spunk, Cartel might just be your perfect match! Apply to meet him at FullCircleRescueAndSanctuary.com $300.00 adoption fee covers neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention and microchip.

Story
I found her as a stray without any identification. I've been looking for it's owner for a few months but haven't had any leads. At this point she needs a new long term home, and financially I don't think I can manage it. She gets along with my own dog, and tolerates others in the dog park. She is house trained and pad trained, I leave pads out while I'm at work because she's alone for a while. She can't get up on furniture due to her leg and body proportions. She's a great alert dog, but I could see it becoming a problem if I lived in an apartment.

Story
Miss Whim (short for Whimsy) is a six-year-old Dachshund/Beagle-ish mix who lost her home when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She’s housebroken, crate trained, low-maintenance, and has a passion for zoomies and car rides. Whimsy’s ideal life? Just you, a quiet home, and a yard to do her happy sprints. She’s not a fan of big dogs, little kids, or sharing her spotlight—she wants to be your one and only. Once she picks her person, she’s all in—sweet, loyal, and ready to claim your lap forever. Her adoption fee of $300 includes her spay vaccinations, parasite prevention, and a microchip. Apply now at www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com to make Whimsy your new best friend!

Story
UPDATE! Meet Buzz! This boy was found in rural Mississippi and sadly never reclaimed. He appears to be a standard dachshund mix and sadly a double merle. He is totally deaf but  he can see. He’s around 2 years old and 31 lbs. He’s a sweet boy who is good with kids and other animals. He’s settled right into his foster home. He loves to play and loves to snuggle. He’s utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
