Story
Introducing Tiny! 🐾😍 Tiny is a 1-year-old Dachshund mix weighing in at just 14 pounds of pure sweetness. She truly lives up to her name — teeny tiny in size, but overflowing with love. Tiny is the definition of a velcro dog. She wants to be wherever you are, following you from room to room and happily curling up beside you the moment you sit down. She absolutely picks her person — and once she does, that’s her human. Her loyalty is unmatched. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and thrives on attention. Tiny does well with kids, cats, and other dogs, though very young children may be a bit overwhelming for her petite frame. She’s super smart and already housebroken, making her an easy addition to the right home. Tiny is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to give someone her entire heart. She doesn’t need a big space or a busy life — just someone to love her back as much as she will love them. 🥹💕

Story
🧡 Meet Pumpkin 🧡 Pumpkin is a 9-year-old Dachshund weighing 25 lbs… and while she carries it confidently, she absolutely should not. She needs to lose about 7 pounds, and she’s already working on getting back to her healthy, girly figure. Let’s be clear: Pumpkin is wonderful. She is: ✔️ House trained ✔️ Dog door trained ✔️ Loves walks and does well on leash ✔️ Rides great in the car ✔️ Non-destructive ✔️ Only barks when she truly hears something She is incredibly affectionate and thrives on being with her people. She’s not constantly underfoot, but she does want to be near you. Because of that, she would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not. She’s earned that kind of companionship. Important Health Note 🩺 Dachshunds are prone to IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) due to their long backs and short legs. Carrying extra weight puts additional strain on their spine, which increases their risk. Keeping Pumpkin at a healthy weight isn’t just about looks — it’s about protecting her back and ensuring she stays mobile and comfortable for years to come. She enjoys her walks and already attempts to play with dogs her size. As she sheds those extra pounds, she’ll likely feel even more playful and confident. Her Ideal Home 🏡 Dog-friendly (she does well with dogs of all sizes) Respectful children are fine No cats Committed to helping her maintain a healthy weight People home more often than not Pumpkin is in that beautiful stage of life where she’s steady, easy, and past the puppy chaos — but still full of love and personality. She just wants a soft place to land and humans to adore. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily walk beside you and then curl up nearby, Pumpkin is ready. 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application. Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or have been offered to another rescue within our network. If that happens, don’t worry—we’re always happy to help you find another great match! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!)

Story
Ellie is a sweet girl. She is 13 months old. She has been raised around kids, dogs, cats, and chickens. She does very well with all of them. She loves attention. She loves to cuddle. She can sit, spin, and stand up for treats. The only issue with Ellie is potty training. She is very strong willed. She goes out regularly and she hasn't gotten it down yet. I work full time and can't dedicate the time needed to train her fully. The weekends go great and then she forgets during the week. She needs someone to spoil her.
