She’s sweet, friendly, and loves to cuddle—whether you’re relaxing or working from home, she’ll be right by your side. Mia enjoys daily walks or playtime, loves fetch (even with soft toys indoors!), and does well with other dogs, though she tends to chase cats. She’s potty trained, crate trained, has good leash manners, and is treat-motivated, making her a quick learner. Small, cuddly, and playful, Mia would be a great fit for apartment living or a home with a yard. Her adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, vet check, spay, microchip and a heartworm test (negative) If you are interested, please complete the application listed below https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=DMBCNVSTVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 5, 2026, 11:14 am

Story
Looking for a Loving Home for Beasley (Beazy) 🐾 This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, but I’m looking for a safe, loving home for my 5-year-old Dachshund mix, Beasley (Beazy). She is a very sweet, affectionate dog who loves people and does great with kids. She is potty trained, fixed, and overall a really good dog. Due to my military obligations, I’ll be going out of the country and unfortunately can’t take her with me. I want her to go to a home where she’ll be loved and well cared for. Important to know: • She does not get along with other dogs or cats, so she needs to be the only pet • No biting — just needs the right environment, she is emotional though There is no rehoming fee. My only goal is to find her the right home where she can have a good life. If you or someone you know might be a good fit, please message me. Please share — it truly helps. Thank you ❤️
