Story
Marc was left tied to a fence at a local shopping area. When his owner didn't return for him, concerned residents contacted our department. The investigation ran into dead ends in each direction Officer pursued, and now this little guy is ready to move on in life and put his past behind him. This little guy is crate trained, wonderful on a leash, loves to play with toys and would you just LOOK at that HAIR?! This guy is an absolute rockstar! He'll meet you at door when you get home and give you that look, you know, the one that says "no matter what happened today you are home now, and I'll keep you safe, snuggle up with you and give you a reason to smile" How can you go wrong with that? Marc is a great doggo and we don't think he'll stick around for long, so if you think he's handsome and might just be the friend you've been looking for then act fast! If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit http://health.vinelandcity.org/forms and complete the Pet Adoption form. Once completed, email the form to animalcontrol@vinelandcity.org. We can then set up a time to speak with you by phone to discuss the pet(s) of interest and then arrange for you to meet with the pet.

Story
Nora is a chill dog who wants to cuddle and stay by your side. She likes to go on walks and sniff the world. She is partially blind but house trained and crate trained. She is good with kids of seven and older. Nora has two beds, a cage and will have minties, treats and food coming with her. Nora has been in our family for over nine years and we are completely saddened to see her go but want to see her go to a loving home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Sugarplum! We believe Sugarplum is a Labrador Retriever and dachshund mix—but whatever her breed combination may be, one thing is certain: this girl is incredibly special. At only 18 pounds, Sugarplum is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. Because of her past, she can be very timid at first and will need a patient adopter willing to give her a few days to decompress and feel safe in her new home before her real personality shines. This sweet girl simply wants reassurance, kindness, and a chance to trust. Sugarplum is currently fostered with three older children and absolutely adores them. She also does wonderfully with small dogs and enjoys their companionship. Large dogs, however, make her uncomfortable and fearful, so she would do best in a home without bigger dogs. We are unsure how she feels about cats, but based on her gentle personality, we believe she would likely do fine with a calm feline friend. This smart girl is completely housebroken and has never had a single accident—even during her first few days in foster care. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash (though she can pull at times), and is surprisingly strong for her size. A fenced yard or space to safely run and play would make her very happy. She loves spending time exploring the yard, but one whistle is all it takes to have her come running back. Sugarplum is still learning that handling can be safe and loving. She does not initially enjoy being picked up, but once trust is built, she relaxes and welcomes it. She tolerates baths very well, though nail trims may require a patient groomer experienced with shy or rescue dogs. More than anything, she just needs someone willing to show her compassion and understanding. At the end of the day, Sugarplum’s favorite place is curled up beside her person. She loves snuggling in bed and sleeps like an angel through the night. After spending much of her previous life left alone for long periods, she truly thrives with companionship and would love a home where someone is around often. Once she bonds with you, she will become your loyal little shadow. Sugarplum is the kind of dog who will never stop being grateful for love, patience, and safety. She may not show her whole heart on day one, but once she trusts you, she will love you with everything she has. For the right person, she will be an incredibly devoted companion. Her heart is far bigger than her little body.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Paws of Tomorrow is not a shelter, we are a foster based rescue group. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have 'pending' after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have 'foster me' after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering.  We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us. Our adoption fee is $300 for all doggies and puppies.  If you have additional questions, we recommend for you to email us at adopt@pawsoftomorrow.dog. All calls go to voicemail, which may take a few days to be returned. We are all volunteers so please bear with us.July 9, 2026, 2:52 pm
