Story
This is Roux, a 4-year-old Dachshund mix with the most lovable oversized head and an even bigger heart. At 26 pounds, she is the perfect medium-sized cuddle buddy who is ready to find her person. Roux absolutely loves toys and will happily spend time playing (actually, she insists on it!) but her favorite activity is cuddling up close with someone she trusts. She can take a little time to warm up to new people and situations. She will also need a fenced in yard because she is not the greatest on the leash and honestly, she just loves running around and exploring. Roux can be protective of her food and some toys, so separate meal times and no small children will be best. She is particular about her dog friends and seems to enjoy the company of smaller dogs rather than big ones. There is something about Roux that just tugs at your heart — she has a bit of a lost soul vibe that makes you want to wrap her in love and show her how good life can be. Once she feels safe, her affectionate personality shines, and she becomes a loyal, snuggly companion who wants to be near her people. Roux is a sensitive sweetheart and a bit of a heartbreaker in the best way. With a patient home and lots of love, she will blossom into the most devoted little shadow. If you're looking for a cuddly best friend with a giant head, a playful side, and a soft heart, Roux might just be your girl. Fill out an application at https://teamstinkykiss.com/

Story
Hello, My name is Bailey. I am a 13 year old mix chihuahua/dachshund ( we think). Recently Ms Brenda took me in because my Mom passed away from Alzheimer’s and my Dad is in a memory care facility. They adopted me at the age of 3 months. I like playing with other dogs, don’t chase cats, and I’ve even become friends with a rabbit. I like being lazy on my blanket, love car rides, cheese as a treat after doing my business outside and well behaved on my leash. I’m not a barker and only bark when strangers come around. I enjoy meeting new people, especially when they scratch my head. Not a fan of bathes but will obey when told to be still until the bath is over. Ms Brenda still works full time and feels I need someone that is able to spend more time with me. I think Ms Brenda will miss me but I know she loves me and wants the best for me. Am I the addition to your family you’ve been looking for? Bailey 🦮❤️
