Story
Darla came to us from a family members litter, we unfortunately did not know the rule about taking in two dogs from the same litter and we got another pup. When they were about three they started to fight and have issues with litter mate syndrome. Training has not seemed to help and as years have gone one the fighting has worsened to the point of the two dogs having to be completely separated. On her own Darla is happy, fun, and full of energy. She loves to play fetch, she like hopping around and getting her self excited and when she goes outside she is prone to the zoomies. She is our sweet girl with a heart of gold but we can no longer give her the amount of attention she deserves now that her and her sister have to be sequestered in to different area of the house. We have a one year old who she seems to do okay around, however due to her mostly being sequestered away she has very little contact with him so I’m unsure how she would do with a child around on a daily basis.

Mabel came to us from a family members litter, we unfortunately did not know the rule about taking in two dogs from the same litter and we got on of her sisters as well. When they were about three they started to fight and have issues with litter mate syndrome. Training has not seemed to help and as years have gone one the fighting has worsened to the point of the two dogs having to be completely separated. On her own Mabel is an incredibly sweet dog who loves attention and cuddles more than anything in the world. We can no longer give her the attention she needs due to her and her sister being secluded away from each other. We have a one year old who she seems to do okay with but she has very little contact with him so I’m not sure how she would do with kids on a regular day to day. She just needs a home where she can have plenty of love and attention and be a happy girl again!
