Story
Meet Star Crunch & Zebra Cake! These two adorable sisters from Little Debbie’s litter are officially looking for their forever families! While they’ve loved growing up together, they’re ready to start their own adventures and must be adopted separately. At just about 8-9lbs, these tiny girls are listed as Dachshund mixes, but your guess is as good as ours! Star Crunch (black with the tiny white stripe on her nose) is the definition of fearless! New toy? She’s first. New room? Already exploring it. Stairs? Challenge accepted! This confident little pup is curious, adventurous, and always ready to see what the world has in store. She’s doing wonderfully with potty training, keeps her kennel clean overnight, settles quietly for naps, and is eager to learn. Star Crunch is incredibly social and greets every person and dog like they’re her newest best friend. She’d thrive as an only dog or with canine companions to wrestle, play, and cuddle with. Zebra Cake (white with the black head and spotted back) is the sweet, gentle soul of the pair. She may take a moment to watch from the sidelines, but once she feels comfortable, her playful personality shines. She absolutely adores her people and loves earning praise, cuddles, and affection. Zebra Cake is also doing great with potty training, sleeps quietly through the night in her kennel, and keeps it clean. She’d be happy as an only pup, but another friendly dog would help continue building her confidence while showing her the ropes. Both girls are happy, affectionate puppies who are ready to grow up with families committed to continuing their training, socialization, and all the fun that comes with raising a puppy. DOB: 5/12/2026Weight: About 8-9 lbs eachBreed: Dachshund mix (best guess!)Adoption Fee: $250 each Their adoption fee includes their spay, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and current vet check. If you’re pre-approved, send us a message! Otherwise, apply today at newleashdogrescue.com and come meet one of these irresistible little snack cakes! ##2791579##

Story
Honey Bun Warning: Honey Bun’s tail may achieve helicopter speed the second she spots a new friend. This tiny bundle of sweetness is ready to find a family to call her own! At just about 7 pounds, Honey Bun is thought to be a Dachshund mix, but honestly, your guess is as good as ours. Her mama weighs about 30 pounds, so we really aren’t sure what breeds make up this adorable little pup. Whatever her mix may be, one thing is certain… she’s packed full of personality! Honey Bun is the perfect mix of playful explorer and cuddle bug. She absolutely loves meeting new people and other dogs, and she’s always ready to make a new friend. Outside, you’ll often find her on an important mission hunting crunchy leaves or proudly carrying around the perfect stick she found in the yard. She’s already walking beautifully on a leash and is making great progress with potty training. With a consistent routine, she’s expected to catch on in no time. When the adventures are over, Honey Bun happily trades sticks for snuggles. She loves being held, and she recently discovered belly rubs… let’s just say she’s completely convinced they’re the greatest invention ever. DOB: 5/12/2026 About 7 lbs Thought to be a Dachshund mix, but with a 30 lb mama, we really can’t say for sure! Loves people, dogs, and playtime Great on a leash Working on potty training Professional snuggler & belly rub enthusiast Honey Bun’s adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, age-appropriate UTD vaccines, and current vet check. Already pre-approved? Send us a message! Otherwise, apply today at newleashdogrescue.com. ##2791581##

Story
Mama Debbie’s Turn After being the very best mama to her seven adorable puppies and watching almost all of them head off to their forever families, it’s finally Mama Debbie’s turn to be someone’s baby. Debbie is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. She’s completely housebroken, incredibly gentle, loyal to her people, and absolutely loves attention. Call her name, and she’ll happily come trotting over, ready for pets or a toy to carry around. One of the cutest things about Debbie is her unique little build. With her long body, short legs, and front paws that look just like tiny flippers, she reminds us of the sweetest little seal. She’s impossible not to smile at! She walks beautifully on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and while we haven’t officially tested her with cats, her easygoing personality makes us think she’d likely do just fine. Debbie doesn’t need anything fancy. She just wants a family to love and someone to spend her days beside. She’s the kind of loyal companion who will quickly become your shadow and your very best friend. Approximately 3 years old Around 30 lbs Mixed breed (our best guess!) Housebroken Great on a leash Good with other dogs Loves toys and affection Adoption fee: $200, which includes spay, microchip, UTD vaccines, heartworm test, and current vet check. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion with a heart as big as her adorable smile, Mama Debbie is waiting to meet you. Message us if you’re preapproved, or apply today at newleashdogrescue.com! ##2791589##
