Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweets found herself unwanted and in a high kill shelter in South Texas. Sweets was a street dog in the Rio Grande Valley for at least 6 months prior to being caught. She is good with other dogs (would prefer low key and calmer companions) , and people (small kids would not be a good choice for her), and cats are unknown.  She is on the shier side... not as hyper for a chihuahua. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. She will be arriving in MN on 5/30.First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vetting appointment.  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2026, 9:31 pm

Story
Meet Lucita (aka Lucy ) — your future snuggle buddy with a splash of sass! At 3 years old, Lucita is the perfect blend of playful and cozy. She’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to a multi-pet home. Originally from Mexico, Lucy is still acclimating to the cold, but she’s learning that sweaters, warm beds, and cuddling close to her people make chilly days much better. Lucy loves being near her humans and will happily follow you from room to room. She’s quiet in her kennel, working on potty training, and is eager to keep learning with a consistent routine. When playtime hits, her spunky and sassy personality shines—especially when she does her cute little hops to let you know she’s ready for fun. She can get a bit mouthy when she’s excited, so a home with older kids who understand dog boundaries would be best. Once she’s gotten her wiggles out, Lucy transforms into the ultimate couch companion and will snuggle up with you for a full movie marathon in bed without complaint. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts playful, affectionate, and loyal—Lucita might just be your perfect match.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $450.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2026, 9:31 pm

Born from a graceful Doberman Pinscher mama and a very determined Dachshund dad, Lindsey is what happens when elegance meets “I said what I said.” She doesn’t just walk into a room… She arrives. If dogs wore fake eyelashes, Lindsey would have a full glam set on, strutting in black leather like she just left a fashion show and a security briefing at the same time. Titles she answers to: • Princess • Head of Security (Fashion Division) • The Cat’s Meow (self-declared, non-negotiable) Personality: Dainty… but will absolutely throw down if needed Sweet… until you question her authority Cute… and fully aware of it Daily routine: • Wake up flawless • Patrol the house like it’s a runway • Judge everyone silently • Provide elite-level security from ankle height • Demand cuddles like royalty collecting taxes Special skills: ✔️ Looking adorable while being slightly intimidating ✔️ Standing her ground despite being… low to the ground ✔️ Making you feel like you live in her house Build: A delicate little frame with just enough “don’t mess with me” installed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Baby Beckham! The Low-Rider, Bootleg Security Sausages, all of 3 months old! Somehow, against all odds (and basic geometry), a Doberman Pinscher (Their momma) and a very determined Dachshund (Their daddy!) got together and said, “Let’s make something confusing.” And here we are. Introducing Beckham!  What we ended up with: • The confidence of a 90-pound guard dog in a little dog body • The body of a stretched-out potato with tiny legs • The decision-making skills of a raccoon at 2am Think of the possibilities! ✔️ Bark at danger (and also wind, grass, and their own reflection) ✔️ Attempt to intimidate strangers while tripping over their own feet ✔️ Follow you everywhere like a weird little security noodle ✔️ Act like they pay rent Physically? Imagine someone started building a Doberman and ran out of materials halfway through, so they just… kept going horizontally. Emotionally?  Dramatic. Deeply committed to chaos. Confidence level: Thinks he’s a police K9. Trips over his own feet mid-patrol. Ideal home: Someone who understands that “personal space” is now a historical Someone who appreciates: – Surprise zoomies – Being followed to the bathroom – A dog who will protect you from absolutely nothing, very bravely Bonus features: – Built-in alarm system (goes off randomly) – Lap dog software installed in a not-quite-lap-sized body – 0% fear, 100% nonsense Adopt this long-bodied legends and experience: Love. Loyalty. Confusion.  An unintentional, designer Dober-Dox. Think of the possibilities, a Doberman mindset in a tiny body. Some of us Doberman people DREAM of this size Doberman:) Side effects may include laughing daily, being judged constantly, and explaining to every single person you know “Yes… we know… we don’t know how this happened either.”  www.uniteddobermanrescue.org  Click here to watch a video of Beckham.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Believe in yourself.” And thus… Misty was created. A one-of-a-kind, unintentional designer dog and proud member of the Low-Rider Security Team. She is living, breathing proof that: Confidence > common sense Determination > physics Being a little extra is always the right choice Misty didn’t just beat the odds—she stretched them. Personality: • Fearless • Funny • Slightly dramatic (okay, very dramatic) Misty’s message to the world: “They said it couldn’t be done. I said… watch me nap first, then we’ll see.” Ideal home: Someone who appreciates a dog that is equal parts inspiration, entertainment, and tiny security professional. Adopt Misty and receive: A daily reminder that anything is possible if you have big dreams A tiny best friend with unmatched confidence of a security team A front-row seat to the most adorable success story ever assembled ⚠️ Warning: may inspire you to chase your dreams… or at least chase her around the house. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Junior is a 2-year old Daschund that weighs about 11-12 lbs.    He originally is from Tijuana. Junior came to us very apprehensive but he has progressed so well, and easily wants love and attention, petting, and care.  Junior loves to go in and outside and loves to run around with another small dog. Junior loves to bark at squirrels! He is actually quite confident outside, strutting his small stuff, bossing the squirrels around. Junior is speedy, agile and athletic.  Junior loves sleeping in the bed at night with you! We are seeking a household that will let him sleep in the bed, it means a lot to him.  His foster home has a set of soft stairs that work great for him.  We are looking for a home for Junior, ideally with another small dog and a fenced in yard (if possible). We can assess a home without a fenced in yard, or another dog, but a home with another small dog and a fenced in yard would ring all the bells! Junior has been exposed to larger dogs and can co-mingle but will sometimes be intimidated by them and jump and snap at them if he feels threatened.  Junior is very precious. He loves to be near his caretaker and have fun with another small dog. He can be confident, and assertive and sometimes shy. He definitely looks to his caretaker for reassurance.  Junior is working on on housetraining, he is possibly 100% there or if not, at 80-90%, as long as he goes outside often and you give him some structure (crate when you are out).   If you would like to learn more about Junior, please submit an interest form on our website:    https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  *Adoption fee for Junior is $595+ MN state tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2026, 9:33 pm
