I am a sweet boy, a bit shy at first with new people. I lived the first three months of my life in a breeding facility so I am just learning I can run in my foster mom's fenced yard and being allowed in the house. I do not walk on a harness and leash and I do not know recall commands so I do require a fenced yard. Do you have the love, patience and time for a puppy? I am a LOCAL adoption only until I am neutered at 5 1/2-6 months of age. I am house trained however I do need to learn a new routineat each new home I go to. I do well sleeping in a kennel. I get along with the other dog in my foster home, except when there are dog bones involved. I get along with people, I am very friendly with all people. I do need a fenced yard as I am a hunter and have no recall at this point. I does OK with a leash but I need more training as walking on a harness and leash are new to me, but I do love to make people happy. Can you be my furever home? She had her spay as well as bilateral inguinal hernias repaired and a very large lypoma resected, she woke up very sore :( Her dental went well, she did have two big premolars. Anna will go back for a recheck with Dr Paul on Nov 17th.Hi! I'm Anna. I am a recent breeder release girl just beginning to learn to live life as a house pet. I am finally settling in and realizing my foster mom is here to take care of me and won't hurt me. I love having freedom in my foster mom's fenced yard, love being in the house and sitting next to my foster mom on the couch. This journey to become a house pet is a lot! Wearing a harness, dragging a leash around so my foster mom can catch me. A fenced yard is a must for me. I have to be followed around a cornered in order for my foster mom to pick me up. I need to be spay, have bilateral inguinal hernias repaired as well as a much needed dental. Do you have time and patience to help me continue on this journey to become a house pet? I’m a healthy, feisty miniature wirehaired dachshund that loves to tumble around with my foster sister and brother. I get the zoomies every night… and several times during the day. I can be a little shy at first but I warm up eventually. I like to be cuddled, but at first I’ll dart away if you try to pick me up. Once I trust you, it’s all good. Now I climb up the ramp to “my” couch and sneak onto my person’s lap. I love a little cuddle time in the morning and evening.   I don’t respond to my name or the come command yet. I’m learning about house training, but I’m pretty good with piddle pads.   I love to run in the yard and I’m getting better with walks, but I’m not very fond of harnesses or leashes. I’m getting better, but I like to run and pull, once I concede to wearing my harness. I’m little, so it’s hard to find a harness that fits well. I’ve gotten used to wearing a collar! Now if my foster sister would stop chewing on it!   I would love for you to give me a furever home! I’d love you for it! I might even kiss your face!I am a local adoption only until I am spay at 5 1/2-6 months of age. I do require a fenced yard to keep me safe as I do not walk on a harness and leash and I do not know any recall. I am full of energy and love to run chase and play. I do not understand the dangers of cars and roads.
