Story
Hi, I’m Rudy! I might be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, my gentle, affectionate side starts to shine. I’m a slow-and-steady kind of guy. I like to take my time on walks, sniff the flowers, and ease into new adventures at my own pace.I’m looking for a loving, patient family who’ll walk beside me (literally!) as I keep building confidence and discovering the world. If you’ve got a calm home and a big heart, I just might be the quiet companion you’ve been looking for!

Story
Seeking to rehome 4 year old Dachshund due to personal health issues. He’s a great leash walker and loves to sleep and cuddle. He is not reactive to other dogs and has been friendly with my family’s other dogs. Not sure how he reacts to cats as I don’t think he’s ever met one. He doesn’t mind being picked up or petted by strangers or other people—he’s very friendly! He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. Hoping to find a good home for him so that I can complete my medical care and know that he’s being well taken care of.

Meet Guera - Your New Best Friend in the Making!Guera is a gentle, affectionate girl who’s really come out of her shell in her foster home. She now seeks out pets, loves cuddling on the couch, and has shown what a sweet companion she truly is. She’s also housetrained, only going potty on walks or in the yard, and is wonderfully well-behaved on leash—walks are one of her favorite things! Guera gets along great with her foster’s resident dog and would do well with another friendly pup or as your one and only. She’s calm, loving, and ready to bring warmth and companionship to her forever home.Email acsoutreach@berncogov to meet Guera!
