Sugarplum is a 1 year old Terrier/Dachshund mix weighing 15 pounds. She came to the shelter as a stray so her history is unknown. Sugarplum is all puppy-puppy energy & puppy behaviors! She has a submissive personality and is very sweet, playful and curious. She loves stuffed toys. Is treat motivated. Puppy Pad trained-working on housebreaking. Knows command sit and is working on shake. Listens well and will be your shadow. Medium to high energy. Mild separation anxiety. Interested in cats, followed around, displayed no prey drive.Her adoption fee is $200, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! The Humane Society of Sandusky County is open Monday -Friday 1pm - 5pm and Saturdays from 1pm - 4pm. Also, be sure to check us out on FaceBook!

Coco is a sweet and energetic male Dachshund mix. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he’ll happily launch himself into your lap to soak up attention. Coco loves being close to his people, snuggling up, and enjoying all the affection he can get. Because he’s a sensitive boy, Coco would do best in a quiet, adult-only home where he can feel safe and secure. With patience and love, he’ll be an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion.
