Name: Chickpea Gender: Female Age: 8 months Current Weight: 17 lbs Expected Adult Size: Small (under 25 lbs) Breed: Beagle/doxen mix Energy Level: Medium-high Dog Friendly: Yes and requires another dog in the house Cat Friendly: Yes Kid Friendly: Yes, any age Apartment Friendly: Yes Physical Fence Requirement: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise Crate Trained: She is not a fan, though she can be in one for small amounts of time. She will need additional crate training. Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home/Adopter: She loves to play and would really enjoy having a doggy friend to play with. She is really fond of everyone she meets, so an active household would be great for her Likes: She loves squeaky toys, she pulls them all out of the bins all day long. She also like playing fetch in the yard and she loves her foster dog siblings Dislikes: She does not like the crate, small amount of time are OK, but she would much prefer to be laying next to you at night Additional Considerations: She has a lot of energy, though she does settle down for naps once she's worn herself out. She is a typical puppy, wants to be near her people and will be underfoot if you are walking around the house. She's not super vocal, really only engaging in the barking when she is playing with her foster siblings and trying to tell them what to do. What makes this dog special: She is just so stinking sweet, she loves her people and loves to play and she is going to be a great dog for any family. She has the cutest little run, and her entire body seems to wiggle when you come home. She carries a toy in her mouth all day long, rarely is she walking around the house without her faithful companions. Chickpea's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. She is here waiting for her perfect family to come along. She has moderate to low energy and the sweetest temperament. She has not been barky. She is ready to be spoiled and loved. She has been fine with older children. She does fine with other dogs. She is not good with cats. She is house trained. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed. He was rescued with his sister Molly from a very inhabitable environment and has been so scared but is starting to open up to being free. He is so sweet. He just follows you around like a little shadow. He loves to cuddle and be a part of whatever is going on. She was rescued with her brother Buu Buu from a very inhabitable environment. She was fearful at first but seems to be doing well adjusting. Molly loves to play and can get riled up pretty easily. For being so small, she sure wants to be the boss. She can be very vocal if need be. She loves her doggie friends (no cats) and humans.
