Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Super cute Chiweenie alert!! Meet Heart! ❤️ Don’t let the gray on her muzzle fool you, she’s only about 2-3 years old and about 12 pounds. Heart was pregnant when she was rescued, scroll to the last picture to see a sneak peek of her puppies! She is part of a group of dogs that were taken in from a hoarder situation that was beyond horrific. It started out as a breeder but she quickly got in over her head. All of these dogs are incredibly shy and scared. However, after only a couple months in their foster homes, they are coming around. They will each require adopters who are very patient and calm around them, while they adjust and learn that they are safe. These babies would not be candidates for families with young children or homes that are super busy/loud. She needs to be spayed and then will be ready for adoption. Heart’s foster mom says- This sweet girl has been with me for two months. She is very gentle. She was the last one out of the hoarder house, and was very fearful for the first several weeks. She is still very scared of men however will settle down for a calmer, softer man. She is very loyal, and has been an exceptional mother. She is crate trained, house broke, very good with cats, and other dogs. Also comes to me when I call her. Overall she is a very good-natured little dog. She will be spayed prior to adoption, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
