Little kids can be overwhelming for her, and she may get a bit too hyped during playtime. With older kids or adults, she really shines. Rosie gets along well with other dogs and would likely love a playful companion. Sophie was adopted by my husband and I when she was around 6 months old. I have raised her these last 13.5 years in a home with a cat and a (now) grown child. She pays no mind to any other animal that also keeps their distance like our ducks and chickens. She likes peace and quiet and would do best spending time with someone that is in the home all day. She is at her happiest taking a nap next to someone or going outside on a short leisurely stroll. She’s past the age of wanting rigorous outside play or have a lot of activity around her. Her dislikes are anything that disrupts her peace: fireworks, bad weather, and most recently, the vet’s office. Otherwise, she is a calm sweet girl that just wants to be loved on. We are building a home and are not giving her the attention she deserves. She’s recently been given a great bill of health at the vets and has always kept a healthy weight and has no back issues. She would be perfect company for a retired person.
