Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Introducing Holmes! At just 15 pounds and 4 months old, Holmes is a tiny but mighty possible Dachshund / Chihuahua-German Shepherd mix. He is a little bundle of energy with a big personality! This playful pup loves to run, wrestle, and chew on just about anything he can find—but after all the fun, he’s the ultimate cuddle bug. Once Holmes is worn out, he’ll happily snuggle up under your neck for a nap or roll over for some belly rubs. Holmes is still learning the ropes when it comes to training, house manners, and leash walking, but he’s eager to explore and soak up new experiences. He sleeps well in his crate at night and during the day when his humans are away—though he’s been known to sneak off to the crate with a shoe or two for a little unsupervised playtime! Holmes absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with playful, patient canine siblings who don’t mind a little puppy mischief. He’s still getting used to car rides and new adventures, but he’s making great progress. In fact, he’s about to go on his first camping   trip, where he’ll work on his training while enjoying the great outdoors! This fun-loving pup is looking for an active home that will help him grow into the best dog he can be. If you have a playful pack or are ready to give him lots of love, patience, and belly rubs, Holmes just might be the perfect addition to your family!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. March 24, 2025, 3:57 pm

Story
My name is Jason aka Noah, as in the father of all mankind:) I have been through alot in my life, I started out in a horrible hoarding situation with my sisters, brothers, uncles and mother. I knew in my heart of hearts that there is a much better world out there. And there is!! I was saved with about 88 dogs and pups, the ladies who drive out to save all of us are absolute saints.... So, back to my origin story, I had an unbelievable hernia out my back end that made my life hell...so the ladies git me to the rescue and 3 SURGERIES later, I am living a normal life 😀 I am a sweet boy, but having come from the situation i did, i am not a cuddle bug. I will hang out with you, just next to your chair. My life has come full circle and I am finally ready to find thst forever home who will love me until the end of time. I am waiting!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
