Adoption Area: East Tennessee Stanley needs: -Someone home most of the day -Adult home or one with children over 12 years old -Needs to be an only dog as he wants all the attention -No apartments because I may bark when left alone Meet Stanley! Stanley is a handsome male Dachshund mix who weighs 8 pounds and is about 10 years old. This little guy wants to be your best friend. He loves snuggling under blankets, sitting on laps, and especially eating! He may be missing a few teeth, but it doesn’t slow him down. He’d be happiest with someone who is home a lot for maximum cuddle time. He walks well on a leash. He’s a very smart boy…..he taught himself how to use a doggie door by watching his foster siblings in only one day! He has a mild case of collapsing trachea that causes an occasional cough; it doesn’t seem to bother him much. He’s just a happy little guy! Stanley enjoys going for car rides, short walks, and cuddling on the couch watching Netflix — what an awesome little guy! Stanley is doing well with his house training. Remember he may need some patience with transition to a new home and we will send a belly band along with him to use during this transition. If you think a little senior gentleman might fit into your household, please submit an online application and remember to put down Stanley as your new best friend. Stanley is neutered and current on all of his vaccines and preventatives. Stanley’s adoption fee is $100.

Story
Daisy and Donut are 2 yrs old. The perfect age as they are all grown out of the puppy stages. They are both housebroken and just the sweetest lovable dogs. They are current on all vaccinations and preventatives and have been spayed and neutered. Daisy is a little more high energy but not excessive. She is wonderful especially if she has a chewy bone or toy. Not destructive, she just likes something to chew on. Donut is lower energy but still loves to chase a ball and play with his sibling. They both know sit and will shake when asked as well. Leash and kennel trained and will sleep in their kennel 8-9 hours with no problems. They are great dogs and their family does not want to give them up but they have had a coupled unexpected deaths in the family and unforeseen circumstances that make it unfair for these two as far as time and space. Their current family would love for them to go together and the adoption fees can be adjusted accordingly if we can find a spot together for them both. We will consider single applications if we can’t find a home together. Once adopted Daisy and Donut will will travel via private transport (transport cost is $165.00) to a location closest to you.
