Meet Dottie! Dottie is an adorable 2 year old Dachshund mix with the floppiest ears you’ve ever seen and a heart full of love. Though she can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her sweet, friendly personality to shine through. Dottie absolutely loves running and playing with other dogs—she lights up when she’s in good company! This brave girl was rescued after being found running along a road with another pup, and now she’s ready for a safe, loving home where she can finally relax and be her playful self. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion with a dash of spunk, Dottie just might be your perfect match.

Story
We adopted Lumi at Hill Country SPCA about a month ago. She is 100% full of life. She absolutely loves people, playing, water, fetch, tug-of-war, and eating! She didn't come to us with manners, but we've been working with her quite a bit. She knows how to sit now, and she loves to snuggle. She's a lap dog all the way, and she will thank you with kisses. We have a kennel for her which she sleeps in at night, a sweater for the cold months, and we have been working with her with a training collar. She responds well to the beeping. Lumi is about a year old. She still seems very puppy like with her energy. She gets along well with our other small dog, but likes to steal the show. She's an attention hog for sure. She is so loving, and sweet, but she likes to chew on stuff. Lot's of enrichment toys will be necessary. She likes the rope toy we bought her, and peanut butter inside her rubber ball. She loves going on walks, but needs some work with pulling on the lead.

Paige is located in Texas but can be transported once adopted. The transport fee is $230 in addition to her adoption fee.Meet Paige… a spunky 5 year old who is looking for a family to love and snuggle with. Paige was surrendered to us by a woman after she had been abandoned at her house for a year by a sibling. She has been an outside dog and is learning to be housed trained. She has been introduced to numerous dogs at her foster family and has had no trouble adjusting. Her favorite activity is sleeping… either in your lap, or on the back of the couch. When it’s time to go outside… she spins in circles with excitement then quickly runs outside to explore and sniff everything. She has excellent recall and comes back quickly when called if not on a leash. She is happiest when her person is near. She will make an excellent companion to anyone looking for unconditional love.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Born around November 8, 2024, this sweet Dachshund mix weighs just 14 pounds—the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. Cindy Lou came to us with her sister Wendy after their previous owner had to move and couldn’t take them along. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Petsmart employee stepped in and asked for help.  Cindy Lou was adopted, but was returned after five months thru no fault of her own.  The family loved her, but they had a small child they needed their undivided attention.  So Cindy Lou need to find a new forever home of her own! Cindy Lou is a toy-loving, dog-friendly girl who absolutely loves attention. Whether it's playtime or cuddle time, she’s happiest when she’s around people and other pups. With her loving personality and bright spirit, she’ll make a wonderful addition to any home. Her adoption fee is $300, and you can apply to meet this little love at www.adoggie4you.org.
