Story
Who wants to head into the 100 acres woods for an adventure? Christopher Robin is ready to take you there! This little dachshund mix has the most adorable little face and comical expressions. He is 3-4 yrs old and is still learning about being a proper pet but is doing well with his crate training and is good on a leash. We are sure once in a home with more attention he will come around and be a loving companion for many years. Dog, cat and kid safe but would probably prefer a quiet home type. Story
Meet Daffodil — a little flower who’s finally learning to bloom. Daffodil is a 3–4-year-old, 17-pound pup with a heart as gentle as her name. She came from a hoarding situation and has spent the last several months discovering what it means to feel safe and loved. Her journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been remarkable to watch her grow. Daffodil is very dog-friendly and absolutely needs at least one other dog in her home — they’re her comfort, her confidence, and her teachers. A securely fenced yard is also a must, as Daffodil doesn’t yet know how to walk on a leash and finds joy in running full speed through the grass, getting the zoomies, and playing with toys. She’s not fully house trained, but she does well using puppy pads when she can’t make it outside. Daffodil has also shown potential to live peacefully with cats. Because of her past, Daffodil is wary of new people and situations. She needs a calm, patient home without a lot of noise or chaos. The first few weeks (or even months) will take understanding and consistency — but when she decides you’re one of her people, you’ll know it. She becomes affectionate, playful, and loves nothing more than burrowing under the blanket for a snuggle or inviting you to play her favorite games. Daffodil isn’t an “easy” dog — she’s a special one. She’s looking for a home that will meet her where she is and help her continue to blossom into the joyful, trusting little dog she’s meant to be.

Story
Meet Cove: The Velvet-Covered Shadow You Never Knew You Needed At 36 pounds, Cove is basically the dachshund equivalent of a weighted blanket—black, seal-skin soft, and scientifically engineered to make you never want to get up from the couch again. She’s 3 years old, which means she’s outgrown the “eat your shoes” phase but still young enough to zoomie like she’s in training for the Wiener Dog Grand Prix. Her hobbies include: Gluing herself to your side like an emotional support barnacle Melting hearts with floppy ears and soulful eyes Pretending she’s not spoiled while absolutely being spoiled Cove’s dream? A forever home with a couch, a lap, and a human who understands that “personal space” is just a myth. Adopt her, and you’ll never go to the bathroom alone again, lucky you. Meet Roxy! Tangy like your favorite salsa 🌶,, and as sweet as a celebratory birthday cake 🎂,,. Roxy is truly delectable. Roxy is a small, adorable dog with a large, delightful, and bold personality! She adores meeting new people (preferably adults and older children) and, when petted, wriggles her tushie with delight. She enjoys the company of most dogs and would welcome a meet and greet with other dogs that reside in the household. Roxy has demonstrated impeccable house manners - that is, she sleeps quietly through the night, is not destructive, and does not show signs of separation anxiety. She loves to explore, whether it be indoors or outdoors, yet also enjoys quiet time simply cuddling and resting. She is a very entertaining gal who looks forward to a foster or an adopter who will provide her the love, warmth and comforts of a home that she so richly deserves. So, c'mon and add a delicious Roxy spice to your life, complemented with an abundance of sweetness, and see for yourself all the love and joy she has to offer. Questions About this Animal? Story
Sonny and his brother Oscar, are new to us but this is what we can tell you. These cuties were given up by a couple who were moving and told the shelter they loved them but they could not take them with them since they could not find housing that would allow dogs. They also explained that they had a child with severe disabilities that they needed to focus on. The couple had named them and appeared to be upset turning them into the shelter. They are now in a foster home with us and are doing great. They are very playful with each other and with the foster's other dogs. They also appear to be house trained. Questions About this Animal?
