Meet Kyle, a three month old Doxie/Terrier mix weighing 7 pounds.Kyle is a sweet boy who is looking for a patient and understanding home where he can learn that the world is a safe place.Kyle came to us from a home with fourteen dogs, all of whom had lived indoors their entire lives. We don`t know exactly what breeds make up this group, as they have a variety of looks. Some resemble Shepherds, while others look more Spaniel-like. Kyle has a short, long body, so we suspect there may even be some Dachshund in his mix.Right now, Kyle is very scared and overwhelmed by all the changes in his world. He is a sweet boy who will need someone willing to go slowly, give him plenty of patience and TLC, and help him build confidence through gentle socialization. Because he is so timid, he would do best in a home without young children.His new family will also need to be very careful when taking him outside. Kyle should not be allowed off leash in an unsecured yard, as he may become frightened and run.Most of the dogs from his former home were around 30 pounds, so we expect Kyle to grow into a medium-sized dog, although he may end up being smaller. Because of his age, we believe he has plenty of potential to come out of his shell with the right socialization, patience, and love.Kyle may take some time to feel comfortable, but watching a scared dog discover confidence and learn to trust can be incredibly rewarding. He is looking for someone willing to give him the time he needs to become the happy, confident boy we know he can be.This pet is available for adoption on 10.2.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
