Meet Eden! Eden is the mama of our Famous Gardens litter; she and her 7 puppies traveled from Brazoria, Texas to the PNW area for a second chance at life. Born in 2024 , Eden is a dacshund mixed breed, small size dog. Loving, gentle, and a dedicated mom to her pups, Eden cares for her babies while sneaking in a little well-deserved “me time” when she can. We are taking applications for Eden now, and she will be able to go home with an adopter once her pups are weaned, and she has been spayed, around 7/24. Mama Eden and her puppies are settling into a foster home in Spokane. As the puppies become less dependent on her, we will be able to assess her crate, potty, leash, and obedience training. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!).   Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process.   Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family (the process may differ slightly for long distance adopters).   Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time.   Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member!   Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue   Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.    Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course.    Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon.   About Path of Hope Rescue   At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. This boy has the sweetest calm little presence about him that immediately makes people feel comfortable around him. Between the giant brown puppy dog eyes, the adorable low-rider body, and the way he quietly follows you around wanting nothing more than love and quality time, Vinny has this soft comforting energy that is SO easy to fall for. He’s not loud, demanding, or over-the-top dramatic. He’s just a really sweet mellow little dude that wants to be loved and included in everyday life. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we CAN guarantee is that this little guy has mastered the art of looking at people with those giant soulful eyes like he’s known you his entire life. He is the PERFECT lap dog size too. Big enough to feel sturdy and substantial but still compact enough to scoop up for cuddles and couch snuggles. Vinny can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but honestly it takes all of about five minutes before his affectionate side starts coming out LOL. He’s not one of those dogs that instantly launches himself at strangers demanding attention right away. He likes a second to observe, process, and make sure everyone is cool first. But once he warms up? Oh he LOVES you. Like deeply devoted little shadow dog vibes. He becomes incredibly affectionate, wants to stay close to his people, and has this really gentle loving way about him that feels incredibly genuine and comforting. With other dogs, Vinny has been very easygoing and chill from everything we’ve observed so far. He’s friendly, respectful, and not bothered by other dogs at all, but he’s also not really the “hey, let’s play and wrestle” type either. He’s much more of a coexist, lounge nearby, and quietly hangout type of guy. Honestly, Vinny seems perfectly content just existing peacefully around other dogs while still preferring the company of his humans overall. If you already have another mellow easygoing dog in the home, we think he would fit in just fine. But if you don’t? Vinny would also be completely happy soaking up all the love and attention as your one-and-only little companion. Vinny also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also seemed to be comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for Vinny to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Vinny is crate trained, potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and absolutely loves treats. Food is definitely one of the quicker ways to this little man’s heart LOL. The best part though? He takes treats SO gently and politely. He has really nice manners overall and just carries himself like a tiny little gentleman. He’s the type of dog that would be happiest in a calmer home environment where he can settle into a routine, spend quality time with his people, and enjoy all the cozy simple things in life. If you’ve ever looked at a Golden Retriever and thought, “I wish you came in fun-sized,” then congratulations because Dime Piece is basically the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids version of a Golden Retriever LOL. Somehow this boy ended up with the gorgeous fluffy golden looks, sweet soulful eyes, and lovable personality everyone adores about Goldens… but in a tiny little low-rider body that weighs only 24 lbs. Honestly, it feels like someone took a full-sized Golden Retriever and accidentally hit the “mini” setting. He is ridiculously cute and fully gives you the best of both worlds. You get the adorable golden retriever aesthetic without needing a whole extra SUV row dedicated to your dog LOL. Between the fluffy golden coat, the tiny little legs, and the fact that he genuinely looks like someone shrunk a Golden Retriever in the wash, Dime gets attention everywhere he goes. Dime is a very sweet sensitive little guy, but he’s definitely more of a slow burn when it comes to new people and environments. He’s not the type to immediately launch himself into a stranger’s lap five seconds after meeting them. He likes a little time to observe, settle in, and realize everything is safe before fully opening up socially. But once he does? He is incredibly affectionate and becomes such a loyal little companion. There’s something really rewarding about earning Dime’s trust because once you’re in his circle, he genuinely just wants to be near you. With other dogs, Dime has done really well and would probably thrive with a calm aloof female companion that matches his more easygoing personality. He’s not a rough-and-rowdy wrestler type of dog at all and honestly has zero interest in getting body slammed by dogs three times his size LOL. When he does play, it’s usually lighthearted little games of chase, zooming around the yard, and playful interactions that stay respectful and low pressure. He appreciates dogs that don’t immediately come in too hot and overwhelm him. Dime would also likely do best in a calmer home environment overall where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. Dime also met our house cat and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Hi! My name is Moncler and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on 5/20/26 because they could no longer care for me. They described me as loving and obedient but that I can be a bit scared of strangers at first.Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without smaller children. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Emma is a super sweet and friendly girl that was surrendered with her son and a cat sister. She is a doll baby. Loves everyone, loves to eat, loves to snuggle. She is not a big barker but does whine when she wants something. She is looking for a Doxie savvy family that understands what owning a long-backed dog means, ramps and all. A family ready to keep her back safe, belly trim and body well exercised! She is a tad overweight at this time! She is crate trained, learning to walk on a leash, does great with the dogs in her foster home. Great for toenails and bathing. Would do best with a secure yard and older Doxie savvy children. Obviously great with cats! Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend or by private meet and greet after application review.
