WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Collin - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Collin and if you're in search of a handsome lil fella that will smooze you with my loveable qualities, well, shoot...look no further. I was heartworm positive but have had my treatments so I'm now ready for that pawsome family life I've been told is sooooo fantastic! I am right around 4 years old and very sweet and I loves to cuddle. I do fantastic with people and other dogs once I get to know them. I also do fine with older kids that are dog savvy. I am still on the fence with cats. I could do fine living with a dog savvy cat but my ideal home would be one that doesn't have any. I would make a great addition for just about any family that is looking for a sweetie to add joy to their life. I will need to have continued house training. It seems I may have spent the majority of my life outside so I'm still working on my house training but I'm doing pretty good with only an occasional accident. I think I'm really starting to enjoy this comfy inside living as you can find me curled up on a soft bed or blanket most of the time! I come in at around 17lb which is 'the' perfect size for giving you all my love and cuddles. And it's also the perfect size for, yep...everything! From neighborhood strolls to some mild nature trails, from cuddles on the couch to sweetness at your feet, I'm here to share it all with you! My short coat is going to easy peasy in the grooming department and that means lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. Oh my, what could be better?!! Are you in search of a family addition that will be there by your side, a constant in your life thru all your daily going on's? A BFF to share your joys and sorrows? WAIT, stop scrolling, I am that fella!!!

Story
President Barbie is an adorable little baby ready for a family! She is estimated to be 9 weeks old and about 6 lbs now. She’s the smallest of the sisters and has the shortest legs. She is a rescue so we truly don’t know her breed. We are guessing dachshund mix maybe, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. See her personality here: https://youtu.be/SWDLP0IpiKg?si=zpCfVhhfgxDiRyVw President Barbie is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She gives gentle kisses, has a very soft coat, and likes to be in your lap. She and her siblings love to play with toys and enjoy the sunshine. She is fostered with several other dogs and cats. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! President Barbie is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6649520095f02f0a0e020045 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.  Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,000 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.  *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: -30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) -A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) -One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan -70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan -Coupons for a fun visit to Petco  -Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
