An elderly man had these 4 pups dropped on his property and he didn’t know what to do with them. He approached a neighbor that he knew to do rescue but she, too, was having her own problems with too many dogs and she approached me. They were already 3 12 mos old. (We gave them a DOB of 2/15/26.) We took them in and started shots, neutering and TLC. I see 2 puppies with one father and 2 puppies with another father. I did a phone scan for breed-types and came out with varying suggestions so as we list each one, Major is-Possibly a mixture of dachsund. Jack Russell, Rat Terrier, and Beagle? but we do not know.He is currently 6 mos old and he weighs 15#. I expect him to be about 20# when grown or at most a little more . He is so much like his brother with his short legs of which the Beagle is more obvious. He loves to play with all the toys. It was hot when he was in Texas...so they all love the water there. His brother who looks just like him Merlin was pre adopted and is living in Olympia, WA. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. Petunia Follow Me has a way of making every new discovery feel like a little adventure together. In her foster home, she’s often the first puppy to explore, with the others following her lead. No science, just observation. in her foster home, she lives with other dogs and is outgoing and confident in familiar surroundings. Her foster says she’s often the first to try something new, with the other puppies following her lead. New places and unfamiliar dogs can take Petunia a little more time. She does best with calm introductions and looks to her people for reassurance while she gets comfortable. Once she does, she seeks out connection and shows off more of the affectionate, lively puppy her foster knows. She is actively working on all the basics including leash walks but because she is growing and learning she will need continued training once she arrives home. Petunia has plenty of growing and learning ahead of her, and she already has two lovely things going for her- a curious spirit and a habit of looking to her person to make sure she is on track and keeping your happy.
