Story
Meet Molly 💖 Molly is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix with the prettiest speckled coat and the softest fur you can imagine. She’s currently living in a loving foster home with both cats and dogs, and she gets along wonderfully with everyone. Molly is a gentle, sweet girl who may be a little shy when you first meet her—but that doesn’t last long. Before you know it, she’s wagging her tail, leaning in for pets, and soaking up affection. She has a calm, loving nature and is great with kids, making her a wonderful fit for a family home. She’d also be perfectly happy as a singleton dog, enjoying one-on-one time with her person. Whether she’s cuddling on the couch or quietly keeping you company, Molly’s loving personality truly shines. ✨ Adopt this sweet, soft, and beautiful girl and give Molly the forever home she deserves. Story
Meet Potato Flake, a two-year-old dachshund/lab mix (our best rescue guess!) with the most adorable, long, potato-shaped body and a soft, loving heart to match. With her delicate lab-like face, beautifully spotted orange ears, and snowy white coat, Potato is pure charm from nose to tail. She has a gentle, sweet presence that draws you in immediately, and once she chooses you as her person, she loves being close by, quietly sharing life right by your side. In her foster home, Potato truly shines. She lives with young children—ages 2 and 5—and does wonderfully with them. She is gentle, patient, and affectionate, and she genuinely enjoys being part of their world. Potato will happily run around the yard with the kids, joining in their play and soaking up the fun, then settle down for a nap when playtime winds down. She has that perfect balance of playful and calm, making her an easy and joyful family companion. Watch Potato's video here! https://youtu.be/2ekQ4ULH0QA?si=_aQV9nJ8Udc_6fBI Potato also lives with doggy siblings in her foster home and does great with them. While she may seem a little reserved at first in new situations, once she’s comfortable, she enjoys playing and being part of the pack. She’s not overly wild or demanding about play, but she absolutely knows how to have fun with her dog friends and fits in beautifully with dogs who match her easygoing energy. She would do well with a calm, friendly dog companion, but she would also be perfectly happy as the only dog, soaking up all the love from her people. Around the house, Potato is a lovely mix of independent and affectionate. She adores her people and bonds quickly, often choosing to hang out nearby as your quiet little shadow. She enjoys affection in sweet bursts and then happily wanders off to relax, curl up on her bed, or keep an eye on her family. Potato walks beautifully on a leash and is easy to take out and about. She checks in frequently with her handler and is not reactive to other dogs, making walks calm and enjoyable. She’s adaptable and would do well in either an apartment or a home with a yard, as long as she has her people and a comfy place to nap. Potato can at times be a little unsure of people touching her booty and tail, I mean, I can't blame he, I wouldnt want anyone touching there either. For this reason, we are leaning towards older kiddos for Potato. But it's clear that she does amazing with younger kids in her foster home, so we’ll just say kiddos should understand her boundaries, and be okay giving Potato a break from the lovey dovey stuff every once and while! Potato Flake is a sweet, balanced little girl who offers the best of both worlds: playful moments full of joy and calm companionship when it’s time to relax. She’s the kind of dog who fits right into your life, loves deeply in her own gentle way, and makes every day a little sweeter just by being there. 🥔🐾 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
This cutie is Alesie. She is currently 2 month old and approx 10 lbs. We think they may be a dachshund mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Alesie’s playful personality here: https://youtu.be/_73_P-NTZmw?si=wCVvxT1QwF9o1XdS Alesie is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with his/her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Alesie is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Winnie! 🐾💕 If you’ve ever dreamed of having a dog who looks like someone accidentally hit the “stretch” button on a lab, then Winnie is your girl. She’s got the longggg, low-rider body of a dachshund and the sweet, expressive face of a mini lab—basically the best of both worlds, compacted into about two feet of pure cuteness. Winnie is the definition of a velcro dog. The second she decides you’re her person (which might only take five minutes, if you’re lucky!), she’ll be your little shadow forever. She’s a lap snuggler, a pet-seeker, and a certified professional in the “follow you everywhere” department. She bonded with her foster mom instantly and has been her tiny sidekick ever since. Watch this tiny girl in action here! https://youtu.be/z8vrfyTVWBM?si=3JF5iyEZTV1Ht01Y She’s great with dogs of all sizes—she’ll wrestle, play, and zoom around the yard with her little legs going full speed, which is honestly a show worth charging admission for. She’s also cat friendly! She currently lives with two cats and has no interest in being with them, playing with them, or spending time with them. They coexist and live beautifully alongside her dog foster sister! Winnie does need a little patience with new people, especially men. She’s much more comfortable with women and will warm up to a patient guy who’s willing to earn her trust. She did great in her kid test, but she’d prefer a calmer home with kids 12 and up—she’s more of a “gentle movie night” kind of gal than a “chaotic toddler energy” one. Winnie walks beautifully on leash (like, seriously easy) and would be just as happy in an apartment as she would be in a home with a yard to explore. She’s tiny, portable, and ready for any adventure you throw her way—whether it’s a park stroll, a car ride, or a cozy nap marathon. Whether she’s your one and only or joining a pack of furry siblings, Winnie’s just looking for love, snuggles, and someone to call her person. 💖 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
