Olive was only five months old, but she had already lived enough life for a much older dog. Four homes in such a short time — four sets of hands, four different living rooms, four places where she tried her best to belong. She wasn’t a difficult pup. Just a little unsure, a little too quiet, a little too eager to please. Every time she arrived somewhere new, she would tiptoe through the doorway, tail tucked but hopeful, waiting for someone to show her what “home” meant. In her first home, she was adored — for a week. Then life got busy, and Olive became an afterthought. In her second home, she was a gift for a child who wasn’t ready for the responsibility. In her third home, she was sweet, but the resident dog wasn’t. And in her fourth home, they loved her… but couldn’t keep her. So Olive arrived at rescue with a tiny bag of toys and a heart full of confusion. Now Olive waits for the home that will finally be hers — not for a week, not for a month, but forever. She’s ready to give her whole heart to someone who will treasure her soft spirit, her brave little attempts at trust, and her goofy puppy wiggles. Olive’s story isn’t about being passed around. It’s about finally landing where she belongs.

She spent nearly a month surviving on her own on the streets, staying just out of reach until she was finally safely trapped and brought into rescue. After everything she's been through, it's no surprise she's a little shy when meeting new people. At first, Henny Penny can be quiet and a bit standoffish, but once she realizes she's safe, her true personality shines through. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and before long, she's the one climbing into your lap for cuddles. She just needs someone willing to give her a little time and patience, and she'll reward you with so much love. Henny Penny is spayed, microchipped, 4DX negative, current on Bravecto, and protected with ProHeart 12, so she's ready to head to her forever family. Her adoption fee is $500. Henny Penny is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Charles is a tiny Dachshund mix puppy - likely Chiweenie! He is adorable with his little brindle coat - very interesting markings to go along with his little playful personality. Charles came to the rescue with his brother (?) Oliver, and while initially very timid, have completely coming out if his shell in his foster home. Charles will see our vet to continue vaccinations, receive his Microchip and be ready for adoption. Charles will be neutered soon, but can go home anytime and come back for his neuter with contract.
