Story
My daughter’s fiance went into a coma a few months ago and she’s now out of money supporting them and moving back home. I already have two dogs and she has three and we cannot have five dogs in my small rental. I’m trying to find a safe and solid situation for her dalmation Trixie. Trixie was used as a bait dog after she was bred once and Emily rehabilitated her over the last two years, but now we are in a difficult situation and need to find her a home. Trixie is 3 and a half, spayed, is current on all shots and heartworm for California, is microchipped, and prob weighs about 40 lbs. She is still a little nervous in new situations, but we have been taking her out to socialize and desensitise her as much as possible in the last two years. If you have any suggestions for who or where we can reach out to, we would appreciate the help. Photo of Trixie attached. She has been housed with three cats and two dogs and is crate trained - when she’s in her crate she’s brave but more timid out.
