Story
Nana’s hugs are unmatched, and she melts for belly rubs! She lovingly wraps her paws around your hand and gives you kisses. Nana is about 6-years-old, 50 pounds and looks like a Dalmatian/Terrier mix, or perhaps a cute spotted cow! Nana needs just a little time to get to know you, and then she’ll shower you with endless love and affection. Our staff and volunteers who have spent time with her can attest to her sweet nature, as she’s always ready for playtime and snuggles. Nana ideal home is a chill environment with a family that understands she needs time to adjust after being in a shelter for many years. She’s a playful flirt with male dogs, but may need some time to build friendships with new canine pals. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick who would also thrive as your one and only, Nana is ready to be your sweet and occasionally diva-like companion. She is potty trained and very neat in her kennel. You can follow Nana to see her personality on Instagram at @Nana__APR. To meet Nana please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org Nana is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Story
Recently welcoming a new baby into our family, we’ve realized that Denver is no longer the right fit for our home and deserves an environment where he can truly thrive.Denver is an incredibly loyal, intelligent, independent and loving dog. He is high-energy, playful, and happiest when he has space to run and a job to do. He has been trained as an l (ESA) and knows several commands including “come,” “sit,” “lay down,” and “shake.” He is also excellent on a leash trained to walk right beside you, matching your pace by stopping, starting, and speeding up alongside you.He is extremely clever, protective, and deeply bonded to his people. That said, Denver does have fear aggression, so we want to be fully transparent in finding him the right home. Because of this, we believe he would do best with an experienced owner in a calm environment ideally a farm large property or a home with a big backyard where he has room to decompress and exercise regularly
