Story
Nana’s hugs are unmatched, and she melts for belly rubs! She lovingly wraps her paws around your hand and gives you kisses. Nana is about 6-years-old, 50 pounds and looks like a Dalmatian/Terrier mix, or perhaps a cute spotted cow! Nana needs just a little time to get to know you, and then she’ll shower you with endless love and affection. Our staff and volunteers who have spent time with her can attest to her sweet nature, as she’s always ready for playtime and snuggles. Nana ideal home is a chill environment with a family that understands she needs time to adjust after being in a shelter for many years. She’s a playful flirt with male dogs, but may need some time to build friendships with new canine pals. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick who would also thrive as your one and only, Nana is ready to be your sweet and occasionally diva-like companion. She is potty trained and very neat in her kennel. You can follow Nana to see her personality on Instagram at @Nana__APR. To meet Nana please fill out an adoption application at abandonedpetrescue.org Nana is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Story
About seven months ago, I found a beautiful scared Dalmation roaming around the middle of Dixie Highway in Boca Raton, Florida. Put her in my car and ever since that day her and I have been inseparable. I’ve had dogs my whole life, but this one is just special. She has brought nothing but happiness to my home. And I tried my hardest to be able to keep her. Unfortunately, she is completely deaf and I have a rambunctious three-year-old a seven-year-old and a three day old. I had severe complications in my pregnancy and I cannot look after her any longer. The last thing in the world I want is for her, going to an animal shelter, where she’ll be scared all over again after finally trusting people. Please if anybody is willing to help even give her a home immediately just for a short period of time I’m not giving up finding a better place for her. I just need more time and I can’t afford to keep her boarded at my vets office anymore. This girl will be your best friend.

Story
Guess who? It's me, Dottie Hinson! I'm a two-year-old Dalmatian mix rescued from Miami-Dade, and I just wrapped up my biggest project yet: raising a litter of amazing puppies! They've all found their forever homes, and now the spotlight's on me! You'll quickly learn I'm a bundle of joy and energy. I'm always up for a game and love playing with other dogs! My human friends say I'm incredibly affectionate and have a wonderfully goofy side that's guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. But don't think I can't chill out! After all that fun, I'm ready to transform into a professional snuggler, eager for a long, cozy cuddle session. If you're seeking a playful pal who also excels at relaxation, I'm your Dottie!

These pups are in Oakland Park, Florida too!

Story
Bruno is as fun as he is handsome. He is a tremendously easy-going boy who is very well behaved. He knows the difference in your stuff and his stuff and is only interested in playing with it chewing what belongs to him . He is extremely proud of his skills and is a very quick learner, performing equally well for praise and for treats. Bruno is fostered with a senior dog and is proving to be a very patient sibling; he waits kindly for his foster brother on walks, shows him all the best sniff spots and doesn’t mind if his foster brother wants more attention or petting. He is very good at sharing. Bruno is a playful and fun dog who will adjust his energy level to match yours, so if you are looking for a running buddy he will happily be that, but if you are looking forward to a weekend of chilling and TV, he is right there for that as well. He is an affectionate, tactile young guy who makes you feel incredibly loved and appreciated - he is a gem.

Story
Scooby is an incredibly shy dog who takes a little while to gain the confidence to blossom. When he does, he is funny, affectionate and loving. He gains his confidence through the company of other dogs. Scooby absolutely loves to play, inside and outside. He is wonderful with every dog, and a very popular playmate. Scooby is the dog app the other dog parents at the park are excited to see there. He is an o Edie t boy who has worked hard to learns his commands. He might take a little while to be that outgoing pup he dreams of being but he is a sweet and gentle addition to any home.
