Story
We love sweet Bella! this girl was transferred to us by a "rescue" that was getting shut down, and sadly Miss Bella was there a while. She is now healthy and happy, and just needs to find her forever home. If you're looking for a low maintenance companion who will take up that spot in your heart, it's Bella. Bella is a lovely girl who truly spends most of her time cuddled up next to someone enjoying all the attention she can or not so quietly sleeping. (this girl can snore, which is quite cute) She is food motivated and can't wait to learn what a life in a home is all about. Bella's best home would be as an only pet, with adults only. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to chose from at the shelter as well. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.

Story
Hi, I'm Cedar! I am an adult medium Australian Kelpie mix. Despite my breed, I have moderate energy levels. I'm a sweet, gentle girl who loves the company of people. I may not be your best friend right away, but it doesn't take me long at all to warm up. My history is unknown, but shelter staff believe my full personality will shine through once I transition to a home environment. I'm decent on leash and cooperative, so basic manners will be a breeze for me to learn. I just want to find my people and be with them. I am available to meet other dogs.

These pups are in Kansas City, Missouri too!

Story
Meet our friend Anecdoche (Andy for short). This sweet, energetic, guy has been waiting a long time for his forever home! Andy is a seven-year-old pointer mix who has plenty of pointer energy. He would love a calm, adult-only home where he can go on lots of walks or runs and play ball outside -- his favorite game! An avid nature lover, Andy also likes to watch birds and squirrels. Andy is crate-trained and house-trained. He is a very smart boy and knows basic commands, and is always up for learning more. He is currently in board and train with The Pet Connection and would continue with classes and support after adoption. Andy would do well in a home with another pet (including cats!), as long as he had a proper, slow introduction. He is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped and ready to be your bestie! To learn more about this sweet guy and make a pet connection, please call or text us at 913-671-PETS (7387). Andy's staying in Beloit, Kansas, but transport to the KC metro is available!
