I was rescued from a puppy mill, and every single day I'm discovering just how wonderful life can be. I'm learning how to walk on a leash, and my foster family says I'm already getting the hang of it! One thing that comes naturally to me is pointing when we're out on walks—it's just part of who I am! I also love taking my time to sniff and explore all the exciting sights and smells around me. I'm still figuring out this whole "being a dog" thing, and it's been so much fun! I'm learning how to play with toys, and my favorite thing to do is gather them in my crate and snuggle up with them. Cuddles are one of my favorite things in the whole world, and I never say no to gentle pets from my foster family. I get along well with other dogs, children, and I've even learned that cats are pretty wonderful too! Because of my past, I can be a little shy when I first meet new people. Life wasn't always kind to me, so it takes me a little time to trust. But once I know I'm safe, my true personality comes shining through. In just the past month, I've learned so much. I'm discovering that people can be kind, that I don't have to be afraid anymore, and that life can be filled with love, comfort, fun, and new adventures. Now all I need is a forever family to continue this beautiful journey with. I promise to reward your patience with endless love, quiet companionship, and a heart that will be forever grateful. Meet Flora 🤍🖤Flora is a sweet Dalmatian looking for a loving home where she can truly settle in and thrive. She is currently on a prescription urinary diet due to the urinary issues that are common in Dalmatians, so her new family will need to be committed to keeping her on that food to help keep her healthy. She is around 6 1/2 yearsFlora does well with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, she warms up beautifully. Once you’re part of her circle, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. If you’ll let her, she’d be more than happy to curl up on the bed with you at night.One thing to note is that Flora is not a good fit for a home with cats.We’re looking for a family that understands she may need a little time to adjust but will be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion. She has so much love to give and deserves a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and cherished.
