Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! I’m Dallas, and I’d love to tell you a little about myself. ❤️ I’m a pretty special guy who is just beginning to discover what it really means to be a dog. I came from a breeder, and for the first part of my life, things looked very different. Now, I’m learning about all the wonderful things I get to experience as a beloved family dog—and let me tell you, I’m loving every minute of it! I’m crate trained and potty trained, and I’m working hard on my leash skills. I’m still learning, but I’m doing pretty well! I love going for runs, exploring new places, and taking in all the exciting sights and smells the world has to offer. And when it’s time to relax, I’m perfectly happy curling up with my favorite bone for some very serious chewing. I’m a sweet, friendly boy who absolutely loves attention. Belly rubs? Yes, please! Cuddles? Absolutely! Tell me how handsome I am while giving me lots of pets? Well, I could definitely get used to that! I’m also a pretty easygoing guy. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids, and honestly, I’m happiest when I’m with my people. I enjoy hanging out inside, relaxing in my crate, or stretching out on a comfy bed and showing off my impressive couch-potato skills. I’m still learning about all the little things that make life wonderful—cozy beds, favorite toys, adventures, cuddles, and having people who love me just because I’m me. But I’m ready to keep learning. What I’m really looking for is a family who will be patient with me, help me continue discovering the world, love me unconditionally, and maybe spoil me just a little. In return, I promise to give you plenty of love, companionship, cuddles, and those adorable “I’m your dog now” looks. I’ve waited a long time to discover what it feels like to have a family of my own. Could you be the family I’ve been waiting for? If you think we could be the perfect match, please apply to adopt me today at www.buffalocares.org. I can’t wait to meet you! ❤️ Love, Dallas ADOPTION FEE: $600.00 RR48Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
Maggie is a pointer mix. We got her as a stray rescue in 2020. We know nothing about her before that. We believe she was 2 - 3 years old at the time. She has been well trained. She knew basic commands, was house trained, and has never chewed anything she wasn’t supposed to. She loves people, but does not interact well with other animals. In the past year or so, Maggie has developed severe anxiety issues. She has never liked loud noises (fireworks, thunder, high winds, etc.) and she doesn’t like to be left alone. We are in our late 60’s and our grown children have moved out of the house. We babysit our 7 month old grandson three days a week and Maggie is alone during that time. We believe Maggie would do well in a rural setting with a fenced yard. She is a runner (which is probably why she was a stray in the first place). She is very comfortable with large gatherings of people. She loves her toys, the squeakier the better. And of course, she loves treats!

Story
Meet Orion! Named after one of the most prominent constellations in the night sky. Bright, unmistakable, impossible to ignore. Same goes for this guy!  1 year old | Catahoula Mix | 60-ish lbs Orion is deaf, which just means he reads the room differently than most. He's picked up hand signals fast and already has mastered sit. He’s an easy YES with other dogs always ready to play, chase or romp in a wrestling match. With people, he just needs a minute to warm up before he knows he’s safe. Quick facts: -Potty trained -Crate trained -Knows sit (hand signal), working on more -Leash manners: in progress -Great with other dogs -Unknown with cats and kids  If you have some patience, a whole lot of love, and the willingness to train a deaf dog, Orion would love to meet you! Love Bug, Smooch and Sweetheart were picked up stray by a local animal control facility and then it was later found out whom they belonged to but were still surrendered due to being unwanted. These girls are very athletic, energetic and have a high drive. They are extremely smart and will need an active home to keep their minds and bodies engaged and out of trouble! With the right environment all these girls are going to grow up to be very impressive dogs.
