Story
Meet Nitro, he’s a handsome almost 5 year old looking for his new home. He’s true to the Dalmatian breed, full of energy and needs his exercise and playtime. He’s a big softie and thinks he’s a lap dog, always looking for attention and affection. He’s is deaf in one ear but that doesn’t slow him down. Nitro can play a bit rough with other dogs so he may do best as the only pet or with a confident dog with proper instruction. I’m not sure how he is with younger children, so a home with older kids or adults may be the best fit. Nitro is being rehomed to ensure he gets the time and environment he deserves. I’m looking for a responsible home that understands the needs of an energetic breed. Someone with dog experience would be ideal to guide his energy in a positive way.

Story
Ronnie is a 10-month-old mix with a huge heart and an even bigger comeback story. Months ago, he was rescued after being hit by a car, suffering deep wounds and road rash on his back legs and feet. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care and time to heal, those injuries are completely behind him. You would never guess what he went through watching him zoom around today. Ronnie made his way to New York two weeks ago and has been thriving ever since. He’s about 38 pounds (smaller than his photos make him look!) and is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. He loves other dogs, is crate trained, and once he bonds with you, he is all in. He can be a little shy when first meeting someone—but pull out a few treats and you’ll see his sweet, funny personality shine through almost instantly. It truly doesn’t take long to win him over… and he will absolutely win you over just as fast. He’s curious, affectionate, resilient, and full of that joyful puppy energy. Whatever he endured hasn’t dimmed his spirit one bit. Ronnie is living proof that tough beginnings can lead to incredible futures. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart of gold, Ronnie might be your guy. * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
