Story
I am a 5 year old Dalmatian who is ready to find my forever family. While I love my daily walks, my absolute favorite activity is being wherever you are. I am a true velcro dog, who loves to.lean against your legs and curl up for snuggle time. I am house trained, gentle, and smart. I can be a little excited when meeting new people at first, but once I know you, I am devoted for life. I am looking for a loving, patient home where I can get lots of attention and be a true part of the family. Friendly and socialized!

Story
Max was my mother's dog before she passed away on 10/31/2025. He is the sweetest little cuddle bug and is hyper aware of your mood and will be there for you anytime you need a hug or love. He loves to play ball but will also curl up with you or on his bed and enjoy a calm night in. I wish I could keep him but I just don't have to space or resources to give him the life he deserves.

Meet Harold – The Gentle Gentleman Harold is a 5-year-old, 53 lb Dalmatian/Lab mix with the sweetest soul and impeccable manners. This well-behaved boy is a joy to have around—he walks beautifully on a leash, loves his daily strolls, and still plays with the enthusiasm of a puppy when he’s with his doggy housemates. Why is Harold the perfect companion? He is gentle, kind, and wonderfully well-mannered. Harold is great on a leash and loves his walks. He is playful yet calm, striking the perfect balance. Harold is also immaculately house trained and crate trained. Plus he is loyal and affectionate—he loves being by your side every step of the way. Harold is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, but he’s on track to be heartworm-free soon. Story
Pogo is a one year old, male, Pointer/Dalmatian mix. He is very energetic and loves to jump up and down. So he gained the name Pogo. He does not get along with unfixed male dogs. It is unknown how he will do with other dogs and cats. He has very high energy and needs daily walks or room to run around. He loves to play and get attention. If he is left alone he will bark, so he does have separation He is still at the stage of loving to tear things up. He will need either to be walked by leash and supervised if you do not have a fence. If you have a fence it needs to be at least 6 feet or taller. He will have his rabies vaccines and if you live local, you will get a voucher to get him fixed for free. You will have to pay for the option of pain meds and cone. You will have 30 days to get him fixed. If he is not fixed within those 30 days. Palacios Animal Care Services has the right to pick him back up. He will also be microchipped and we will register it for you. Adoption fee is $90. If interested in adopting or a rescue transfer, please contact Palacios Animal Care Services at 361-404-0265.
