Story
Hi there! I’m Felix, a one year old male Dobermix.    I don’t know about y’all, but this whole rescue thing was a bit scary for me at first! I came from a backyard breeder situation that got out of hand in northern Florida. I didn’t have a lot of chances to interact with people there, so it was a challenge for me to get used to being around them. I’m really lucky though! My foster home is pretty nice, and these people are very kind and patient with me. I have slowly learned that people can be good and even fun to play with! I thrive in the company of other dogs the most, and I would LOVE a forever home with fun puppy siblings to play with. I’ve met some little kids and I liked them okay too! A home that will be patient and understanding of my past is also much appreciated.    If you are interested in adoption, apply today at sweethomedobermanrescue.org/adoption! ##2177706##

Story
Hey! I’m Sugarplum, an eight month old female Doberman puppy. I'll be honest, I've been in rescue for most of my life! My memory isn’t too great, but I’ll tell y'all what these rescue folks told me! At some point when I was with my litter, my mom either bit me or stepped on me and my head got stuck kinda crooked. I could still get around, but I was real wobbly and it was hard to compete with my siblings for food. They started ganging up on me because I walked funny, so I was taken to a shelter. I was only there for a couple hours before some really nice people came and scooped me right up! I got to spend the holidays in a wonderful foster home, but my problems were just getting started! I wasn’t able to keep food down after a couple weeks, so I went to the vet. Turns out I have this thing called mega esophagus that keeps me from swallowing well. I've grown up real strong and healthy though, so I'm able to eat normally so far. As I grew up, my head straightened out a lot too! Now I can mostly walk in a straight line. I’ve got a few challenges, but I am a spunky little thing with a strong will to live. I like other dogs, people, and have been around cats as well! I can't promise I won't need some extra help in the future, but for now I'm ready for my next adventure! Is that with you? If you are interested in adoption, apply today at sweethomedobermanrescue.org/adoption! ##2255104##

Boy howdy!! I’m Prancer, a seven year old male Doberman.    I gotta tell ya, it ain’t easy being this good looking! It’s also not easy having such amazing dance moves either!! At least that’s what I call them - but my foster mom says I’m “wobbly”. I may have Wobbler's Syndrome, but I sure don’t let it slow me down! I am a friendly boy who LOVES people and is always on alert to keep them safe. I like other dogs too! Thunder and fireworks are NOT my friends though I would love a home that will be understanding and equipped to help with my balance and mobility issues and is looking for an older gentleman to relax with for hours at a time! If you're looking for a protective, cuddly, and 100% NON-DESTRUCTIVE dog, I'm your guy!   If you are interested in adoption, apply today at sweethomedobermanrescue.org/adoption! ##2254267##

Well now howdy! I’m Rooster, a four year old male Doberman.    Shoot y’all! I had a home I really loved up in Tennessee, but it went and caught fire! Can you believe the bad luck?? Everyone was okay, but without a roof over our heads, I had to come into rescue. It’s not so bad though! I like other dogs a lot, but I'm of the opinion that cats are food, not friends. I am a gentleman who loves everyone he meets. I’m also house trained and love to snuggle! I sure would love to find a new home soon!   If you are interested in adoption, apply today at sweethomedobermanrescue.org/adoption! ##2222177##
