The Cranberries were an Irish rock band formed in Limerick in 1989. Their 1994 album, No Need to Argue, shot them to the top of the music charts and every 90s kid will remember their chart-topping song, “Zombie”. We’ve got a darling pup named Cranberry, who we think, also deserves top billing in your home! Cranberry is still a baby dog and she can’t wait to get into a home where she can grow up with a family! Here’s what one volunteer said:“Cranberry is a very active sweet young pup. She’s a bouncy little girl with puppy energy. She was excited out on our walk this morning and wanted to lead the way! Once in the yard she ran around sniffing and played a little ‘Catch me if you can’ with her kennelmate. Cranberry loves treats, which she takes very gently. She also enjoys petting and warms up quickly. Cranberry definitely enjoys being out of the kennel and seems to love playing.”Cranberry has some medical needs, including a pending hip surgery, dental work and continued treatment for valley fever. She is waiting patiently for a family who will ensure that she gets all necessary care so that she can enjoy a long life with her furever family.Cranberry shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup and loves to play with her kennel mate. Cranberry is ready to head home and start the rest of her life surrounded by love and care! Ask to meet her today!!

He spent close to a year in a foster home before returning to the shelter and we learned the following:- He lived with another dog and did great - He was housebroken - He is an active, playful pup who will benefit from training and structure - He is well- behaved when left home alone, snoozing the day away- He is smart, alert, and curious - He is sweet and loves to be with his people- He loves toys- He loves to runSandy will thrive in an active household with owners who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He`s a smart and eager-to-please dog who will benefit from training and positive reinforcement.Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“I have a thing for brown dogs and Sandy fits the bill. He is the whole package in my eyes. We walk in the desert together, with no pulling or jumpiness. I find him to be such a nice walker. He turns to me now and then looking for a treat, but I tell him to keep walking and he continues on. I haven`t seen any reactivity or mouthiness from him any time I have had him out. He`s actually one of the most enjoyable walks of my night. I find Sandy to be an awesome companion and thoroughly enjoy any time I can spend with him.”While Sandy can be good with other dogs his size and larger, he has a high prey drive and should not be in a home with cats or small animals. He`s also prone to destructive behavior when bored or stressed, so crate training and plenty of enrichment are essential. Due to an old fracture from when he first came to the shelter, Sandy will need joint supplements to keep him comfortable for life. Sandy is a wonderful dog who deserves a loving and patient family. Please ask about how you can help Sandy! Available for foster care or adoption through PACC.Adoption Process:Interested parties:• Must visit PACC before the 5:00 PM December 10, 2024, deadline to meet with an adoption or foster counselor who will go over notes and then introduce you to ensure that it’s a good fit.

Here’s what one volunteer said:“Kiva is so sweet! I took she and her kennel mate to a yard today and she was friendly in kennel and easy to leash. In the yard she enjoyed sniffing all the smells and getting pets- she has the softest fur!! She knows sit and is a gentle and well-behaved girl overall. Ruby is a 1 y.o. girl full of love, ready to find a loving family. She’s was found as a stray so not much is known. Foster Notes: dog friendly, great with small dogs . Super sweet and chill. Good with people, never aggressive and not a barker. Kennel trained. Energy level is medium, half couch potato half active Good on leash.She`s a 40 lb young doggie so she needs someone that moderately active, she needs to work out and decompress all her energy. Someone who is patient and has time to train her . We are working on her potty training and she’s been improving massively in the short time we’ve had her, she does great on pee pads.
