Story
Hi there, I`m Foxie! I enjoy playing fetch, going for walks, and sleeping in bed with my family. I have lived with children, another dog, and cats but did tend to chase the cat. Slow introductions to other animals are important! I am house and crate trained but prefer to be with my family.

Story
Meet Jolene, Jolene had a negative heartworm test!!! She is officially done with treatment and now just needs to be spayed. Before spay we are going to do a holter test on her just to be safe. Jolene will have to stay on heart worm protection for the rest of her life but can live a completely normal life. She will need to be retested in 6 months as a precaution as well. Jolene is a super sweet girl that loves everyone she meets. She is good with kids and other dogs. As we have hoped with getting the puppies out of her system and getting her heartworm treatment completed her heart is doing a lot better. To get preapproved for adoption please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
Meet Jax, Jax has been returned to rescue because he barked at a neighbor and well we can't really make that up. Jax is a blue & tan boy with natural ears and a tail that is just over 4 years old. He is a super sweet boy and deserves the best life. He is a very smart boy who loves cuddles, is great on a leash, and knows a lot of commands! He's a great running and hiking partner, too! Jax needs to be in a Doberman experienced home with no small children. Jax will need to be in a home that is willing to work with him and learn from the trainer that has been such a gift to this dog. He will also need a new home with a 6 ft fence, as he can clear a 3-4 ft fence if he decided to let himself out on a run. Jax is fully vetted and ready for his new forever home. His last adopters truly did him no favors, we are working on correcting all of those issues as he was put on meds that we have now taken him off of because he was a inconvenience to them and instead of taking trainer advice from our trainer or any trainer they decided drugging him was the best solution which did not help him at all. He is making slow strides in becoming the dog he was when he left our care. Jax is muzzle trained and in high stress environments it would be best for him to wear it in case he gets over stimulated. This boy has had a rough life thus far after running the streets of Mexico to coming here. Jax is already close to being the dog we adopted out. He goes to work with his foster and loves most everyone he meets. We are currently accepting applications for Jax at www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Meet Dandy, Dandy some of you will remember as Royal. Dandy arrived from Texas awhile ago and he has already began his journey of getting rid of his heatworms. He's already completed his injections and in about 30 days from now he will receive a heart worm test to see if his treatment is completed. He's going to have a road ahead of him but you can not ask for a sweeter senior boy at just a little bit over 7 years old. Dandy is good with other dogs and cats. He is a super sweet boy that deserves the best. He is shy at first but once he warms up you can not ask for a better man. Currently we are looking for a foster to adopt as he has medical we will need to take care of before he will be able to be adopted which will also include not only his heartworm treatment but a dental and neuter as well. Story
Meet Christie, Christie just arrived from TX and looking for her forever home. Christie is having her entropion fixed today 7/10/24 and having a much needed dental as well. After she is healed she will be ready for her forever home! Christie is a super sweet girl that is around 5 years old. She doesn't meet anyone that she thinks is a stranger. We do know that Christie is good with dogs and kids but has never been around cats that we are aware of. Christie would benefit from losing around 20lbs as well as she is overweight currently. Christie would be the perfect addition to any home that is looking for a dog to just be part of the family. She wants to be included she isn't overly active but wants to be included.
