Gracie is a sweet 11-lb Miniature Pinscher looking for a calm, patient home where she can truly shine. She can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe and trusts you, Gracie shows her gentle heart by leaning into her humans for comfort and support. She walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out for quiet strolls. Gracie gets along well with other dogs, though she may prefer calmer canine companions who won’t overwhelm her with too much play right away. Given a little time and space, she settles in beautifully. Gracie is searching for a quiet home that will allow her to open up at her own pace and show just how loving she can be. With patience, understanding, and a soft place to land, Gracie will reward her people with loyal companionship and tender affection. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
