Story
This adorable little girl and her siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Blair is a gentle little girl, but does love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. We can email you a link to the adoption application.

Story
Hello Rescue fans, I want to tell you a story of a dog who has been over looked again and again. Our Rescue had 4 Doberman siblings that arrived from TX in CT March 15th. Cindy Lou, Titan, Molly and Mindy. They were all a little nervous but they adjusted to their respective Foster homes quickly. The pups learned leash skills, potty training and exposure to cats. It has been a joy getting to know them all and seeing them blossom. After 3 months, 2 Adoption events and a number of people stating an interest in Adopting, 3 of the 4 siblings have been Adopted. Mindy is the last pup standing. She is a great pup and would love to meet you! Mindy is now 8 months old and 45lbs. Mindy lives with other dogs, cats and goes to playgrounds with kids…she just enjoyed a day at the park yesterday, running with all the dogs and kids around. We love Mindy and we know you will fall in love with her as well. Email janine@changealifedogrescue.org and submit an application. We adopt to CT RI NH NY NJ VT & MA Mindy is Housebroken, crate trained, dog/cat friendly, learning leash skills, and she is a great combination of playful and cuddly. Story
COURTESY POST - OWNER REHOME Meet Bucky, a handsome 1.5-year-old, 56 lb. Doberman with the biggest heart and the sweetest personality. Sadly, Bucky is in need of a new home due to life changes and downsizing/moving. His mom wants nothing more than for Bucky to have the space, attention, and opportunities he deserves to truly thrive. Bucky is an affectionate, people-loving boy who absolutely adores cuddles, kisses, and spending time with his humans. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when he's by your side. He currently lives with his two canine siblings and does well with dogs he knows and trusts. While he can be a little cautious with new four-legged friends, given time and proper introductions, he is capable of building those relationships. Bucky is not good with cats. He has done well with the kids he has met. As a young, energetic dog, Bucky would do best with an active person or family who can provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental enrichment to keep him happy and fulfilled. Whether its hiking, long walks, playing fetch, or simply exploring the world together, Bucky is always ready for an adventure. In the right home, Bucky will be a loyal best friend, adventure buddy, and cuddle partner all rolled into one. Breed and dog experience highly preferred. If you're looking for a loving, goofy, energetic companion with so much love to give, Bucky may be the perfect match for you. His adoption fee is $450 and Bucky is vaccinated and neutered. Story
Meet Yeager — a Doberman with zero buffering and unlimited energy Tall, athletic, funny, and painfully handsome. The perfect guy… if this were a Tinder profile. But it’s not — and he’s a lot more than that. Yeager is a complex guy, but also obliviously happy. You know that kind of happiness only reserved for those with absolutely nothing going on upstairs? Yeah… that! I mean… look at that gaze. There is NOTHING there. Processing? Minimal. Vibes? Chaotic. To be clear: Yeager is A LOT. Not “a little training needed.” Not “puppy energy.” We’re talking full-time project dog. ✔️ Dog social… selectively (great with females & smaller/meduim males) ✔️ Has done well with cats and older kids ✔️ Extremely happy, confident, and always ready to GO ⚠️ Reality check: • Potty trained… but won’t tell you and will absolutely have accidents • Will mark indoors • Does not understand (or respect) human correction • Learns patterns quickly… then uses that knowledge against you • Will outmaneuver your routine (especially when food is involved) • Rarely settles — especially around other animals (play is his full-time job) • Takes correction from other dogs… then forgets it happened 3 minutes later • Destroys beds, feeders, and anything not built for chaos • Eats fast, then immediately wants to sprint/jump (deep-chested breed awareness REQUIRED) Training status: He’s not untrainable, but he is not intuitive. He will require someone experienced, structured, and committed to ongoing training. This is not a “figure it out as you go” dog. Ideal home (non-negotiable): Experienced, active, consistent human(s) who will not give up when he inevitably tests every boundary you set. Doberman or working-breed experience strongly preferred. If you want a chill, easy dog; keep scrolling. If you want a high-drive, chaotic, hilarious, frustrating, incredibly rewarding project… Yeager is your guy. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
