Story
💞 Meet Dolly! 💞 Say hello to Dolly — our tall, lanky, floppy-eared beauty who’s equal parts elegance and goofball. We think she’s a Doberman–Shepherd mix, but whatever she is, it’s 100% adorable. She’s got the shiny black-and-tan coat, those soulful brown eyes that look right into your heart, and a pair of ears that have a personality all their own (sometimes they stand up, sometimes they do their own thing — we don’t ask questions). At about a year and a half old, Dolly is that perfect mix of young and playful, yet gentle and sweet. She’s a little shy when meeting new people, but once she decides you’re her person? Game over — she’s smitten. You’ll get tail wags, soft nuzzles, and that “I love you already” look that will make you melt into a puddle. She’s affectionate in her own way — she’ll come in for pets and snuggles, then prance off to entertain herself for a bit before circling back for more love. It’s like she knows how to keep you hooked. Watch this adorable girl in action right here! https://youtu.be/FPTAgZMzO4o?si=S04RmloekV1lZEoA Dolly is obsessed with her dog friends — she absolutely lights up when she sees another pup! She loves to run, wrestle, and play tag, and she’s got that perfect balance of energy and manners. She’s not pushy, but once she’s comfortable, she’s the queen of zoomies. She’d be so happy in a home with another playful, easygoing dog who loves to have fun but also knows when to chill. And oh, the toys. Don’t even get us started on the toys. Dolly takes her toys everywhere — she’ll proudly carry one around like a prized possession, gently hold it in her mouth during naps, or trot around the house showing it off like, “Yes, this is my emotional support squeaky, thank you for noticing.” Fetch is her absolute jam — she’ll chase, bring it back (mostly), and look so proud of herself you can’t help but cheer her on. She’s also an angel on leash — easy, polite, and happy to stroll beside you. She’s super treat-motivated and picks up on things fast, which means she’ll be so much fun to train. She’s got that perfect “eager-to-please but slightly derpy” energy that makes every little learning moment adorable. Dolly would do best in a home with older kids (12+) who understand that she needs a bit of space to warm up — once she’s comfy, she’s a total lovebug. She’d also prefer a cat-free home, because, well… cats are just too interesting for her! She could easily thrive in either an apartment or a house — she’s adaptable and just wants to be near her people. A quiet home with time to settle in and a cozy spot for her naps would make her one happy girl. Dolly is the kind of dog who brings calm, joy, and laughter into a room without even trying. She’s got a gentle heart, a silly spirit, and a way of making every day brighter. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you smiling, fill your home with love, and maybe hand you a slobbery toy or two — Dolly is your girl. 💕 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Now Fostered in Seattle Wa The very first moment I met Prince Caspian, I immediately knew he was special and such a sweetheart. He immediately was wanting all the love and affection from me and I had only known him for a 30 seconds, maybe not even that. Caspian loves to love and he makes immediate connections with everybody he meets. One of my absolute favorite things about Caspian is the way that he looks at you. He looks at you like you're the most important person to ever exist and he makes you feel that way too. That quality is a rare find and Prince Caspian is a once in a lifetime dog that will change your life forever. Watch his video and fall in love with this lover boy: https://youtu.be/oLNAjGYYG9A?si=-ZJIcRErsZdscaq3 Prince Caspian is believed to be German Shepherd/Doberman Pincher mix approximately 3 years old and currently weighs 75lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. He is currently fostered with another puppy and does very well with them and is a gently boy. One thing that is a guarantee, is Caspian was born to be a family dog. He was immediately comfortable the second he walked into the room and met my son who is almost 17 months. Caspian came straight to him and was immediately giving him kisses. At the time when Caspian met my son, he was getting tired and mad because I wouldn't let him eat the dog treats LOL (if you know, you know) and Caspian was not phased one bit with my son crying or screaming. The entire time Caspian was with us, he never once knocked my son down or showed any signs of not being comfortable. He was relaxed and happy the entire time. Even when I was giving my son his snacks, Caspian never tried taking it from him and was very tolerant of the random movements and unexpected grabbing hands. My son loves to take boxes and put them over his head and quickly pop out in a peak a boo fashion and even with that, Caspian was unbothered. You can see their entire interaction in his adoption video. Coming from a mother's perspective, I had no reservations about Caspian being around my son and believe he would make a wonderful companion for your kids. Caspian is very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to. Caspian is good about sharing treats and toys with other dogs and he does good walking past other dogs on leash too. He does best with other dogs that have a goofy playful personality about them and dogs that enjoy a more physical type of play style. If you don't have other dogs that's fine too. Caspian does not need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable or to satisfy his energy needs. He is a total lover boy from the get go and he has a perfectly balanced energy about him. He would also do best in a home with no kitty friends. Caspian would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, and explore all the fun smells. Bonus points if you have a pool or buy him a little kiddie pool because he loves the water and likes to dip his toes in during those hot summer days. We could also even see him being good in an apartment. He is quiet in his crate, walks so incredibly easy on a leash, and wouldn't be bothered passing by other dogs in those smaller apartment hallways. He has great house manners and from what we have seen, he is fully potty trained. Caspian is also very teat motivated and already knows some basic commands such as sit and will even sit automatically before you ask him to. He is so patient and takes treats very gently as well. We are willing to test Prince Caspian with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
