Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. We have had Shelby since she was a pup. She came up from the south. She has just turned 6 in April. She had been our only dog until we brought a Yorkie home, around October/ 24. We figured it would take a while for her to get use to a new dog. It is now May/ 25 and she still has not excepted him. In fact, she has gone after him twice. We have to keep them separated, all of the time. Shelby has always been anxious around people and anything that is different, in her environment. She is content to lay on the couch with her favorite person sitting next to her. She is not a dog that likes to be snuggled and hugged, but wants to be near you. She walks good on a leash, lets you brush her teeth and stands still when you bathe her. She needs an experienced person to be the Alpha. We love our Shelby, but we are afraid she will hurt our Yorkie.
