Story
ABOUT MOLLY Molly recently joined HAP after her previous owners were no longer able to care for her. This 2-year-old, stocky, long-legged beauty is a real charmer. Miss Molly is super smart, she already knows tricks like “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and walks beautifully on a leash. As a younger dog, she has plenty of energy and loves playing with her toys. When she gets really excited, she even gets the zoomies, it's a hilarious sight to see such a big dog move so fast! Molly can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with some treats and a little puppy talk, she warms up quickly. While she hasn’t made any doggy friends yet, she enjoys their company during walks, so she may be okay with other dogs. If you have a resident dog, we’d be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure they get along! Despite her size, Molly does wonderfully on the leash. She occasionally barks at smaller animals but doesn’t pull to go after them. And did we mention she loves treats? This big girl can’t resist and that’s why she’s got those adorable curves! If you’re looking for a big lap dog with tons of affection and a big, goofy personality, Molly is your girl! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
