Story
Filly is a 9‑month‑old, 60‑lb Doberman mix who bounced into our lives after being found as a stray here in Philadelphia. She was brought to ACCT Philly by police, and we were lucky enough to transfer her into our care where her personality quickly stole everyone’s hearts. To put it simply: Filly is a total clown. She’s happy, social, affectionate, and absolutely adores her volunteers. This girl wakes up every day ready to have fun and makes it her personal mission to spread joy wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a dog who brings laughter, energy, and nonstop love, Filly is your girl. Filly does well in playgroups with other dogs and enjoys canine friends, though her play style is best described as “bull in a china shop.” She’s young, enthusiastic, and a bit rough-and-tumble, so dog-savvy companions (and supervision) are important. Filly will thrive in an active home that can keep up with her zest for life—think walks, playtime, training, and adventures. In return, she’ll bring her future family endless fun, affection, and a whole lot of sunshine. If you’re ready for a young, energetic dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Filly can’t wait to meet you. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. This adorable little girl and her siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Blair is a gentle little girl, but does love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. We can email you a link to the adoption application.

Story
KENNEL ID #18804Meet Queenie of The Canine Coven — all the way from Tennessee!  Seven magical little girls inspired by American Horror Story: Coven. Each one has her own personality, charm, and a little bit of puppy magic. Ready to cast a love spell on their forever families.  The Coven was born 12/29/25 and these girls are expected to grow to about 30–50 lbs when fully grown. Their mother is believed to be a Doberman mix, though we suspect there may also be some Lab in the mix and dad was a miniature schnauzer. Queenie and her two sisters Zoe and Myrtle are being fostered by Lindsay in a busy, real-life home—and is absolutely thriving. With kids running around and five other dogs ranging from Mastiff to Chihuahua, these girls have learned how to fit right in. They have wonderful manners, know when it’s time to play, and just as importantly… when it’s time to settle down and relax. They’re the kind of puppies everyone hopes for—well-socialized, easygoing, and already used to the rhythm of a family home. If you’re looking for a happy, adaptable, family-ready puppy, you truly can’t go wrong with one of these girls. Adoption Fee $375 (includes spay)Thank you for your interest in rescue. Story
Meet handsome ✨WILSON✨(FNA Fresh Prince). Wilson came to ACCT Philly as a stray on 11/19 with wounds to his private areas. Since coming into ACCT’s care, he has been spending time healing and socializing in his foster home. This young pup is under two years old and is fully housebroken! He LOVES chewing on bones and enrichment toys…in fact it’s his favorite thing! Though his past is unclear, this sweet boy has come a long way in foster care and is now seeking his forever home! Though he is initially shy to strangers, once trust is built, he is the most loyal companion! Wilson has gotten along with an American bully mix, shepherd and a French bulldog, so he may thrive with another doggie companion in the home! However, slow introductions are key (he will never be the kind of guy to go into a dog park and make friends). This handsome man is seeking an adult only home (no children) that is an experienced adopter with fearful dogs. If you’re interested in meeting Wilson, please email brooke@acctphilly.org after submitting an adoption application on ACCT’s website !
