River needs a confident home who can help him continue to move forward and build his confidence. He is the product of backyard breeding, along with his brother, Rye. He loves other dogs and looks to them for guidance, a home with a fenced in yard and another dog would be great for him. Right now he is VERY scared and skittish and will require a family who is dedicated to helping him.

Story
Hello, I want to introduce you to Blu! She is a four-year-old Doberman who has been with her current family since she was 13 weeks old. We are in the very unfortunate situation of having to rehome our girl because of an allergy our 2-year-old daughter has developed with Blu's hair that is rather severe. Additionally, Blu has become overly protective of my wife and has growled at our daughter as well. Blu is a very sweet dog and loves HARD. She is a great guard dog and attaches to HER people. She loves to run and get outdoors, even in the hot Florida sun. She does need an experienced owner as she gets anxiety around other people until she builds trust and comfort. That anxiety comes out in the way of barking at strangers, especially in her house, which can be intimidating given her breed. She should be adopted by a family with only adults in the house. She's great at her daycare, but it did take her sometime to adjust to being with other dogs. Please ask us any questions!

Meet our adorable Solar System Puppies!❤️ This sweet 2-month-old puppy appears to be a Hound mix (maybe a Heinz 57 mutt!) and is absolutely precious! Like all puppies, they are ready to be loved, cuddled, included in everything their humans do and given the chance to grow into amazing lifelong companions. They are at such a fun age to start exploring the world, learning new things and bonding with their forever family. With plenty of love, patience, socialization and guidance, these babies have so much potential! There are nine siblings in this litter — Earth, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Moon, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn and Venus — and they are all looking for families of their own. ❤️ Mom is a medium size and only about 40lbs, but we expect these dogs to be medium/large and around 45-50lbs. 📍 Located in Sarasota, FL 💰 Adoption fee: $350 ❤️ Spayed/neutered, vaccinated & microchipped Think one of these sweet babies might be your perfect match? Apply at www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt Once approved, you can meet the whole litter!

Story
Don't let Jefe's age fool you! At 7 years old, he still has the energy, speed, and athleticism of a much younger dog. This handsome mixed-breed boy (Retriever breeds, Terrier breeds, Doberman Pinscher) is a stunning sight to watch as he races around our fenced-in yard with incredible grace and joy. Jefe has overcome some challenges in his life. When he came to us, he had a tangerine-sized mass under his tail. Thankfully, it was successfully removed and found to be benign, and he's now healthy and ready for the next chapter of his life. Jefe has proven how resilient he is. What he wants now is a family of his own - one that will embrace his active spirit, give him plenty of exercise, and shower him with love. In return, you'll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who is eager to be by your side through every adventure. Our adoption process involves a foster (trial) period and home visits, so we're looking for potential adopters in Bradenton or Sarasota (Florida). An adoption application can be found on our website (www.hpcanimalrescue.org).
