Story
Looking for a Running Partner? Meet Kairo! 🏃‍♂️🐾 Meet Kairo, a stunning 1-year-old Doberman mix with a beautiful rust-colored coat. If you are looking for an active companion to join you on adventures, he is your guy! Why you’ll love him: • He’s smart: Kairo already knows his basic obedience commands. • He’s a pro on the leash: He walks well and is ready to hit the trails. • He’s playful: He loves to play and has plenty of puppy energy left. The ideal home: Kairo is a smart, high-energy boy who unfortunately lost his previous home because he made his own fun when he was bored. He thrives on structure and needs a family dedicated to keeping his mind and body active. Because he missed out on some early socialization, he can be reactive toward other dogs and would do best as the only pet in the home while he works on his confidence. If you have a fenced yard and a love for active dogs, Kairo is ready to run right into your heart!

Story
Brodie is a Blue Doberman/American Staffordshire mix, born May 2021. A trainer rescued him to be a service dog, but he’s better as a family dog, so we adopted him in February 2022. Brodie is sweet, friendly, and a good mix of calm and playful. He’s about 85 pounds, has a clean vet record, is crate and house trained, and has basic obedience training. He struggles on leash and can be reactive to small dogs, so we’re doing extra training with a professional and he’s responding well. At home, he’s well behaved, gentle with our two-year-old daughter, and loves a fenced yard, sprinklers, and bubbles. We’re rehoming him because we moved to a home without a fence, travel often, and can’t walk him while caring for our daughter. Because we work full-time, he spends much time crated. Brodie will thrive with a family or person who has a yard and/or time to continue his training on a leash. He is a sweet boy and sure to bless your family greatly!

Story
Hey there, I’m Penny — a gorgeous, goofy, go-go-go kinda gal with a mind of my own and legs that were made to run!I’m a young Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, which basically means I’m athletic, independent, and have enough energy to power a small town. I love attention and affection, but in true cat-like fashion, I’m also perfectly happy doing my own thing once I’ve had my fill of pets. I'm sweet, strong, and smart — but make no mistake, I’m a lot of dog.I’ve got a high prey drive, so cats, squirrels, bunnies… I see ‘em, I chase ‘em. Because of that, I’d do best in a home without small animals and with adults or older teens who are confident handling a strong dog on leash. A fenced yard would be awesome so I can zoom my little heart out. Speaking of zooms — I can get the zoomies hard, and while I mean no harm, I could totally knock over a little human by accident. So, no young kids unless they’re sturdy and used to big dog energy! If you’re looking for a beautiful, bold, and slightly cat-like canine to keep you on your toes and make you laugh every day, I just might be your girl. 🐾Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 12yrs+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Hey there, I’m Finn — the handsome guy who’s hoping the third time really is the charm!I’ve had a few homes before, but for different reasons it just wasn’t the right fit. I know my perfect match is out there though, and when you meet me, you’ll see why I’m worth it.Here’s the scoop on me: I’m a loyal, snuggly buddy who loves people and warms up quickly. I’ve got a major soft spot for belly rubs, pets, and couch cuddles. I also love my walks — so much that I’ll bark with excitement when I see that leash come out! Don’t worry, I’ve even got a couple tricks up my sleeve — I can sit and shake if you bribe me with treats. (Fair warning though: I can get a little overzealous about food, so I’ll need some help remembering my manners. Because of that, I’d be happiest in a home with kids 12+.)A few other things you should know:I’m a bit of an escape artist (doors and fences don’t stop me!), so leash walks are definitely the way to go.Car rides aren’t really my thing, but I do love a good nap in my crate.Other dogs can make me nervous sometimes, but stuffed toys and the occasional game of fetch make me happy. At the end of the day, I’m a sweet, loyal boy who just wants to find my forever family. If you’re looking for a walking buddy, couch companion, and a dog who will adore you endlessly, I might just be your guy.Love,Finn 🐶❤️Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 12yrs+; Exit SeekerAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Story
Meet Penny — a tiny, gentle soul searching for a soft place to land. 🐾💖Penny is a 14-year-old Pomeranian/Miniature Pinscher mix who spent her entire life in one loving home before her family unexpectedly had to move out of the country and couldn’t take her with them. She’s now navigating a new chapter with quiet grace and endless sweetness.Currently in a foster home, Penny has shown just how special she is. She’s affectionate, calm, well-behaved, and a true couch potato. Cozy beds are her favorite (she even enjoys sleeping in her crate), but her happiest place is right beside her person. She enjoys short walks, has politely met other dogs, and tends to stick close—especially since she’s a bit hard of hearing and prefers to keep her people in sight.Mealtime is Penny’s favorite event of the day. She’s not picky at all and happily eats her food—even with crushed meds mixed in. Sweet potatoes, blueberries, green beans, and her favorite treat, peeled cucumber, are always a hit. Being told she’s a “good girl” absolutely makes her day.Medically, Penny doesn’t tolerate sedation well and typically requires a reduced dose. She’s currently on supportive medications for her liver and possible Cushing’s, arthritis/joint comfort, and her eyes. She is available as foster-to-adopt while awaiting an ultrasound recheck at the end of January. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving senior companion who just wants comfort, companionship, and a cozy couch, Penny is ready to fill your home—and heart. 💕Requirements: Martingale Collar; Foster-To-Adopt (Liver, Arthritis, and Eye Medications)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home.
