Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snoop is a 1-year-old neutered purebred, male Doberman, who was surrendered to UDR from the breeder with his two sisters. Snoop tends to be on the shy and timid side but his spirit shines through despite the challenges he has faced. Snoop is very loving with his foster mom and dad and embodies the playful and adventurous essence of puppyhood.  Beneath his lively exterior, Snoop reveals a vulnerability that only serves to deepen the connection with his caring companions. There are some men that do scare him so we can only venture at what his past may have experienced. Snoop will need a fully fenced yard as this boy can jump like a high stepping gazelle! Yes, Snoop can clear a 4-6 foot fence with ease. Snoop is fully vetted, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered! If you have room in your heart for a courageous soul in need of a understanding home, Snoop is ready to make a lasting impression on your life and be your loyal companion. Visit our website at www.uniteddobermanrescue.org to submit your adoption application and welcome Snoop into your home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Kipper: 75 Pounds of Drama, Cuddles, and Loyalty Status: Available for Adoption Breed Mix: Doberman(ish) – DNA says 54% Doberman, 13% Great Pyrenees, 12% Labrador, and the rest is a delightful mystery Age: 4 years, 8 months (born Oct 2020, a Libra if you're into that) Current Mood: Slightly suspicious but very snuggly Eye Color: Brown, and yes, they're judging you Training: Knows more commands than your average toddler Fence: Required — he needs his own turf to patrol Good with: Adults who get him Not good with: Kids, cats, or drama from other dogs  Who is Kipper? Kipper is a house-trained, couch-hogging, treat-sniffing good boy with a serious work ethic when it comes to guarding his people and getting belly rubs. He’s part Doberman, part goofball, and 100% devoted to his humans — once he decides you're cool, you’re basically royalty. He doesn’t do crates anymore — he’s evolved. But don’t worry, he’s a trustworthy gentleman when left alone.  Vocal Talents: Kipper’s got opinions. You’ll know when the mail comes, when a leaf moves, or when he’s ready for some ear scratches. His bark says “stranger danger,” but his heart says “please cuddle me forever.” He also does this weird Wookiee-speak when he’s happy. It’s weird. It’s adorable. You’ll love it. Smarter Than Your Ex This dog knows a lot and has been schooled in proper obedience! He’s so food-motivated he’d probably learn how to file your taxes if kibble was involved. He LOVES training games and mental challenges. Hide his treats and watch the detective go to work. Agatha Christie wishes she had this nose. Let’s Get Physical Kipper needs daily workouts and a fenced yard. Prefers games of fetch in the yard, walks around the block, or trick training in the living room — he’s game.  Cuddle Monster Status: Expert If you have a couch and a heart, Kipper will be in both. He’s the kind of dog who believes personal space is a suggestion. He’s your emotional support shadow. Expect him to be your coffee buddy in the morning and your fuzzy blanket at night. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Stranger Danger Here’s the tea: Kipper does not welcome strangers with open paws. He thinks he’s a bouncer at the exclusive club that is your home. Barking, growling — he’ll do what it takes to keep the weirdos out (including your friends). BUT — and it’s a big but — if you introduce people calmly, on his terms, he’ll come around. Usually within 5–10 minutes, he’s trying to sit in their lap. His current humans are happy to demo the “Kipper Intro Protocol” (patent pending). Kipper’s Dream Home: No other pets, thank you very much. No kids — not because he’s mean, just because he’s overstimulated and slightly dramatic. A fenced yard, a comfy couch, lotsa treats and some squeaky toys. Humans who love training, walks, and working with a dog who’s a bit extra but totally worth it. Bonus points if you appreciate a dog who’s emotionally intelligent… and occasionally suspicious of anyone he deems as outsider to his royal circle. Kipper is: &#226&#156&#133 Cuddly &#226&#156&#133 Hilariously expressive-he has a lot to say when he talks &#226&#156&#133 Brilliant and eager to please &#226&#156&#133 Protective but lovable &#226&#157&#140 Not here for kids, cats, or dog park politics If you want a loyal best friend who’s got personality for days, impeccable house manners (potty trained, crate trained!), and a heart of gold (under a protective layer), Kipper just might be your guy. Apply now to adopt Kipper! He’s ready to patrol your home, love you fiercely, and possibly narrate your life with his dramatic vocals. www.uniteddobermanrescue.orgClick here to watch a video of Kipper.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Doberman Puppy Bonsai! Bonsai is a melanistic 6-month-old puppy with a big heart and an even bigger comeback story. He and his brother Onyx were found as strays and came into rescue needing some immediate TLC—both boys were very skinny, Bonsia was exceptionally emaciated.  Thanks to quick veterinary care and lots of love, both pups have healed up beautifully and are now doing great! Bonsai is dog friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. He has not been cat tested, but as a young puppy he’s very moldable and at a great age to learn appropriate manners with cats in a patient, structured home. He’s everything you love about a young pup: curious, resilient, and ready to take on the world with his person by his side. Bonsai is at the perfect age to grow up alongside his forever family, learn all the good things, and become an amazing companion. This sweet Doberman boy has already shown how resilient he is—now he just needs a safe, loving forever home to complete his happy ending. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Nellie a stunning 8-year-old blue Doberman girl with a classic cropped and docked look and a heart just as beautiful as her silvery coat. She’s the kind of dog who turns heads everywhere she goes—and once you meet her, she’ll win your heart just as fast. Like many blue Dobermans, Nellie has color dilution alopecia, which means she has some hair thinning and areas of hair loss. This is a cosmetic condition only—it doesn’t affect her happy spirit, her ability to enjoy life, or the love she has to give. She may need a little extra skin care and a family who understands that her beauty shines far beyond her coat. She is also heartworm positive but has started treatment and is on road to recovery. Nellie is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves her people and enjoys being part of the action. She’s ready for a stable, loving home where she can settle in, be cherished, and finally stop worrying about what’s next. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul and don’t mind a little “less fur, more love,” Nellie just might be your perfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bluey! This handsome 5-year-old male Albino Doberman is looking for a patient, loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. He is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate boy who just wants companionship and kindness.110% Velcro dog!  He is visually  impaired as most albinos tend to be, so he navigates the world a little differently—but don’t let that fool you. With a consistent routine and a calm environment, he does wonderfully and learns quickly. He thrives with reassurance and gentle guidance and has so much love to give once he feels secure. Having another female dog in the home is very important for him. He previously relied on a canine companion to help him get around, and he gains confidence by following another dog’s lead. A friendly, stable dog will help him feel comfortable and confident as he settles in. This boy has a heart of gold. He is loving, loyal, and deeply deserving of a second chance with a family who will see past his disabilities and focus on the amazing dog he truly is. He will do best with adopters who are patient, compassionate, and willing to give him the time and understanding he needs to thrive. If you’re looking for a truly special soul to add to your family, this sweet Doberman could be your perfect match. www.uniteddobermanrescue.orgClick here to watch a video of Bluey.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.United Doberman Rescue Adoption Process Application Submission: Complete the adoption application thoroughly.
