Story
My name is Kobe and I am estimated to be a year old.  I am an “all natural” boy meaning I have the ears and tail that I was born with. I am a very sweet boy and have done well with the other dogs I have been introduced to and have been in a play group.  I am still learning about new things but taking it all in stride.  It is not known how I would do with cats. I am young so I will need training and patience.  My new family must commit to taking me to training and provide me with loving, patient, consistent leadership If you are interested in me please go to www.doberescue-ne.org, review the adoption rules and area and place an application if you qualify. All of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted. We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes. Please Note:In most cases we require a fenced yard.We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall. Also, we reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our adoption area encompasses Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.Copyright © 2007 - Omaha Doberman RescueFor more information or to fill out an adoption request please visithttp://www.doberescue-ne.org/October 1, 2023, 7:33 pm

Story
My name is Blake and I am estimated to be about 2 years old.  I am a new arrival in rescue and was a stray prior to staying with a kind family for awhile so my early history is unknown. I am a very enthusiastic happy boy who wants to play all of the time.  I know a few basic commands but would love to go to obedience classes with my new family so I can learn and grow. I need to go to a home that will work on training me and be able to handle the energy of a young male Doberman.  I am friendly with dogs I have met. If you are interested in me please go to the rescue website at www.doberescue-ne.org and review the adoption rules and area.  If you qualify the application is there on the website as well. All of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. Story
My name Jag and I am estimated to be about 2 years old.  I was picked up as a stray so my history is not known. I am a big handsome boy with a lot to offer.   The volunteers have found that I do know some basic commands but as with all young dogs I will need additional training. I have been good with the dogs that I have met.  Cats are unknown. My new family must commit to taking me to training so I can really shine. Please go to www.doberescue-ne.org to see the adoption area and rules and if you qualify the application is there as well. All of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. Story
My name is Abby and I am about 2 1/2 years old. I am a very intelligent and playful girl with a lot of energy.  I like to play with all sorts of toys and to put all things that I discover into my mouth to see what they are.  So here is a little update about me: I may be strong-minded and somewhat stubborn but I do take direction well.  In fact, I love to learn!  I am getting so good at listening to my foster dad!  I can be very excitable, after all, I still have a lot of puppy in me but I am learning to listen to him and settle down.  I am a bit hesitant with new people but I warm up quickly and I ride ever so nicely in the car.  I am a very smart girl and I just want to learn and grow.   I am learning and growing all of the time. The truth is, I do not want to run a household.  I want to grow up to be a confident well trained, well-adjusted girl who pleases her family.  I want an owner who understands the needs of the adolescent and has the patience, confidence and intelligence to train me properly.   I will make them so proud if given a chance. My foster dad says I am very good in letting a groomer trim my nails. I do not fence fight with neighbor dogs and I have learned to sit and wait patiently before being let outside to play. He has also worked with me on crate training and potty training and I am doing so well! When I am playing with my foster brother I often forget that I am a little bigger than he is so I do best in a home with dogs close to my own size.  If you own a cat please do not apply for me My future family must: - Be experienced with young Dobies/working dogs.  Recent experience, not something that happened 20 years ago. - Be patient, confident, consistent and very willing to take me to class or work with the proper trainer. -No children under 12. If you are interested in me, please go to the rescue website at www.doberescue-ne.org and review the adoption area and criteria and if you qualify the application can be found there as well. All of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed.
