Story
My name is AJ and I am estimated to be between 3-5 years old.    I feel so blessed that I was able to get into a rescue after being picked up as a stray and sent to a shelter.    Shelters and rescues all over the country are full so I am very lucky to have been rescued. I am an all natural boy with a full tail.    Sometimes I like to chase it! I am friendly and playful.   I am an adolescent male who needs training and patience.    I need to go to a home with people who have current Doberman experience who have the time and patience to work with me. I cannot go into a home with little dogs or cats. If you are interested in me please go to www.doberescue-ne.orgAll of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted. We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes. Please Note:In most cases we require a fenced yard.We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall. Also, we reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our adoption area encompasses Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.Copyright © 2007 - Omaha Doberman RescueFor more information or to fill out an adoption request please visithttp://www.doberescue-ne.org/May 4, 2024, 1:41 pm

OMG Cora you are a stunning little Dobie baby! Listen up Doberman Pinscher lovers!!!  Miss Cora, our 10-11 week old Doberman Pinscher is now ready for her forever home. Who will be the lucky family to watch puppy Cora grow into the sleek, intelligent and elegant beauty she will be?  Cora is just a delight to have around whether she is chewing a bone then falling asleep on your lap, whining for a belly rub or attempting to chase a ball with those long gangly legs lol. Like a loyal Dobie she loves her people including kids! She also loves other dogs and so far ignores cats  Cora is crate trained and will sleep all night and is almost potty trained! Remember, however, she is a baby and will need ongoing house training. She also will need a fenced in yard for her to run and romp in! If you are a Doberman lover or a large breed lover, Cora, may be the little princess you've been looking for.  If so, please apply at www.havenanimalrescuenebraska.org ADOPTION DONATION FEE: $425   PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. Story
Sweet Zookie has had some trauma somewhere in his past, we have never met a minpin that did not want to snuggle undercovers.  Zookie loves to run in the yard and play with his toys (don't take them).  He does not know personal space and will jump on your lap and stand on you to to get attention and love.  He will bounce on your leg when he first sees you.   He loves to play with hands and wrist just have to remind him to go gentle when he gets going.  When Zookie gets going those zoomies and something to watch out for.  Zookie would do best in an adult home so when he does feel threatened and gives off his growls people know to leave him alone.  He is getting better in his foster home day by day but knowing when he has had enough is important.  Zookie is VERY food motivated and will sit for treats.   He is not found of strangers touching him so patience's is a must.  He does want to play with other dogs.  No idea about cats.  He is doing well at housetraining, he did just get neutered.  Zookie is a tall minpin about 13 lbs. but skinny do to neglect.  He should be about 15lbs or so.   To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs.  We do not ship dogs.   All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.May 7, 2024, 4:14 pm
