As the son of Rex, Blue has many classic Doberman traits — loyal, people-oriented, intelligent, and deeply connected to his family — but he also struggles with confidence and anxiety in unfamiliar situations. Blue has completed basic obedience training and is eager to please. He’s very friendly with strangers and does well with other dogs, especially small dogs, which he absolutely LOVES. Because he can be nervous around younger children, he would do best with older, dog-savvy kids who understand how to give him space when needed. 🐾 About Blue: • 2 years old • Male Doberman • Completed basic obedience training • Good with other dogs (especially small dogs!) • Friendly with strangers • No resource guarding • No known cat history • Comes with crate & prong collar Blue is a submissive dog who tends to shut down when overwhelmed. When frightened or overstimulated, he may try to run away or have submissive accidents. He also experiences separation anxiety and prefers when his people are nearby and together. He thrives in calmer, more predictable environments with people who are home often and willing to continue helping him build confidence. While Blue can be playful, he is not overly hyper. He enjoys companionship more than chaos and would likely do best in a quieter home with another stable dog to help him feel secure.
