Story
WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. No appointments necessary. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. Jack is about 7 yrs old. He came into a high kill shelter where we rescued him from. He was very emaciated (only weighed 52 lbs). He is very smart and eager to learn. He loves to play fetch as his favorite but also will keep himself busy with other toys. He is strong on the Doberman gene, so when he is on a walk, he will bark and lung at strangers if they are within a couple feet radius. (he corrects easily and listens to "no" from his owner) People walking further away than that, he ignores. He is a very beautiful Dobie who needs a strong owner to give him guidance and structure and they will be amazed on what he can be. He would do best with someone who understands the breed or a similar breed. He needs a home with out children or teens due to his protective nature. He will not be placed in a home where we do not feel is a safe situation for him or the home. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Jack, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. Jack is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits. Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

Story
🤩 TODAYS TRANSFORMATION STORY 🤩 Remember when Minnie (previously Dream) came into VPRP, extremely malnourished, neglected & scared? Look at her now! Minnie is an approximately 6 year old doberman mix female. She loves sunbathing! She’s extremely loving and bunny hops around feeding time, letting you know not to forget her breakfast or dinner. 🐰😂 It took her some time to build some confidence and weight while being fostered with VPRP, and now she’s ready to be a part of a loving fur-ever family. Minnie is still learning the basic commands, and she’s very food-motivated. Given her past, she is on a twice per day feeding schedule with a slow-feeding dish. She is kennel-trained, even though she doesn’t really require one. She uses the doggy door with ease, and she loves to snuggle. She’s not destructive at all! She gets along with other dogs with proper introduction, although she would probably prefer a more mellow furrymate. She’s done a wonderful job of learning to share, and she isn’t food aggressive. Minnie is an incredible companion, and she would love to be a part of your life. She always greets you at the door, and she’s always happy to see you. She loves snuggling in bed or on the couch with you but has no problem sleeping on the floor as long as there’s a bed for her, if that’s what you prefer. Minnie gets attached to people fairly quickly as long as she knows she’s safe, and she’s not picky whether it’s a male or female. She doesn’t like to be picked up. It may be a trigger from a scary past. She doesn’t get mean - she just crouches down to the floor, terrified. We’ve tried helping her with it, but she seems like she’s not budging on that. She has no trouble jumping in the vehicle on her own for car rides. With that being her main quirk, we would recommend a family with either no kids or older kids, so they understand. #doberman #dobiesofinstagram #lasvegasdogs #adoptdontshop @ladybird926 thank you fosmomma! Story
Hi, I’m Raditz! Life handed me a few plot twists, but don’t worry, I’m bouncing back with style. Before I came to rescue, I had a tough go and suffered an injury but it's healed now, and I’m not in pain, but it left me with a gait that’s uniquely mine. I call it my badge of resilience and a reminder of how far I’ve come. I’m currently working on filling out my model figure, translation: I love food.Training? Yeah, I need structure and consistency, so I’m looking for an experienced human who knows the ropes. Bonus points if you keep your treat pouch fully stocked. When it comes to other dogs… let’s just say I’m a little picky about my friends. Socializing isn’t really my strong suit, so I’d do best as the only dog in the home where I don’t have to stress about it.

Story
Winnie is a 2-year-old black and tan Doberman whose human mom had to move to take care of her own mom so she gave Winnie to her son. Her son was military and, unfortunately, he had to go overseas, so he gave Winnie to DRNV. Prior to her spay, we discovered her copper level is elevated, so first we need to place Winnie with a foster for four months while we treat the elevated enzyme with a special medicine to flush the copper and reset her baseline. She will need special copper-free food and a few supplements. Winnie is a very sweet girl who is a little reserved at first but then loves to play and cuddle and gets along with other dogs. By discovering and treating this elevated enzyme so early, Winnie is expected to live a very normal life.

Story
On November 13th, we took in 9 newborn puppies. Born on November 11th. We have found incredible homes for 5 and are now down to 4. They are happy, healthy, and socialized! Up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming. Mini Pinscher/ Kokoni mix. They likely won’t be larger than 20-25lbs. We had the pleasure of also fostering their wonderful mom and she is about 20lbs. We will reach out to you as soon as we receive your application.🌟 We have 3 little boys and 1 little girl. They each have very sweet individual personalities. Each are brilliant and constantly evolving. They surprise us everyday with how clever they are! And cuddly as ever! We are NOT breeders and ARE devoted to caring for these puppies for as long as it takes to find responsible homes. Please share a bit about yourself in the application! :)

Story
Patience 💜🐾 1,000 days. That’s how long this sweet, loyal girl has been waiting for her forever family. Rescued while pregnant in 2022, she raised her puppies like a champ—but while they all found homes, she’s still waiting for hers. She’s potty trained, knows her basic commands, and is treat-motivated (aka the best kind of learner!). She’s protective of her family and needs time to warm up to new people, especially men, but once she trusts you? You’ll have her whole heart. Patience thrives with another dog and does well with respectful kids. She’s even playful with cats—just with some supervision! A female-only home or a patient adopter willing to let her feel safe would be perfect. 1,000 days is far too long. Let’s find Patience the forever love she’s been waiting for. Apply today! 💕 #1000DaysTooLong #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog #ForeverHome
