Story
10-year-old neutered male Doberman. He is great with people and children and absolutely loves attention. He can become a bit jealous if other dogs are taking his attention, but he has always gotten along well with dogs at dog parks and during playtime. He was off-leash trained as a puppy and still remembers most commands, only needing an occasional refresher to pick up new ones. He is fully house-trained and doggy-door trained. Unfortunately, now that the kids are grown and have recently moved out, he is home alone most of the time. A demanding work schedule with frequent travel leaves little time for him, and it isn’t fair for him to be alone so much after growing up with constant companionship and attention. I would love to find someone that can give him the attention he loves and deserves.

WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. No appointments necessary. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. Jack is about 7 yrs old. He came into a high kill shelter where we rescued him from. He was very emaciated (only weighed 52 lbs). He is very smart and eager to learn. He loves to play fetch as his favorite but also will keep himself busy with other toys. He is strong on the Doberman gene, so when he is on a walk, he will bark and lung at strangers if they are within a couple feet radius. (he corrects easily and listens to "no" from his owner) People walking further away than that, he ignores. He is a very beautiful Dobie who needs a strong owner to give him guidance and structure and they will be amazed on what he can be. He would do best with someone who understands the breed or a similar breed. He needs a home with out children or teens due to his protective nature. He will not be placed in a home where we do not feel is a safe situation for him or the home. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Jack, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. Jack is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits. Hi, I’m Raditz! Life handed me a few plot twists, but don’t worry, I’m bouncing back with style. Before I came to rescue, I had a tough go and suffered an injury but it's healed now, and I’m not in pain, but it left me with a gait that’s uniquely mine. I call it my badge of resilience and a reminder of how far I’ve come. I’m currently working on filling out my model figure, translation: I love food.Training? Yeah, I need structure and consistency, so I’m looking for an experienced human who knows the ropes. Bonus points if you keep your treat pouch fully stocked. When it comes to other dogs… let’s just say I’m a little picky about my friends. Socializing isn’t really my strong suit, so I’d do best as the only dog in the home where I don’t have to stress about it. I'm still working on my manners and would need to live in a home with no young children.

I'm a lovebug that enjoys getting lots of pets and attention from human friends! I was in play group at the shelter and have fun playing with other dogs, but I much prefer attention from people! I would love an active home that takes me on walks and maybe even hikes! I am a younger gal that has lots of love to give and plenty of energy to burn. You can meet this animal at our Everyday Adoption Center in the Petsmart at 286 W. Lake Mead Pkwy in Henderson. We are open from 10am to 6pm. We do not hold animals so please get there as soon as you can.
