This adorable little girl and her siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Blair is a gentle little girl, but does love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Meet handsome ✨WILSON✨(FNA Fresh Prince). Wilson came to ACCT Philly as a stray on 11/19 with wounds to his private areas. Since coming into ACCT’s care, he has been spending time healing and socializing in his foster home. This young pup is under two years old and is fully housebroken! He LOVES chewing on bones and enrichment toys…in fact it’s his favorite thing! Though his past is unclear, this sweet boy has come a long way in foster care and is now seeking his forever home! Though he is initially shy to strangers, once trust is built, he is the most loyal companion! Wilson has gotten along with an American bully mix, shepherd and a French bulldog, so he may thrive with another doggie companion in the home! However, slow introductions are key (he will never be the kind of guy to go into a dog park and make friends). This handsome man is seeking an adult only home (no children) that is an experienced adopter with fearful dogs. This big girl came in as an owner surrender when she got to big for the owner to handle and train. She is very smart and high energy. She is not crate trained and needs leash manners. All of that said she is a fantastic girl with incredible potential!!!She is absolutely beautiful loving and sweet. She plays rough but corrects when she respects her handler. Are you ready to shape this girl in to the dog of your dreams because she is ready willing and able to learn. She has greeted other dogs in the kennels nicely at the gates but according to the owner she was attacked at 4 months old and is reactive to dogs. We can try a dog meet if you already have a dog. No kids for her she will knock them over and plays to rough.

Story
Melo has been with us since march I got her from someone who was getting ready to send her to the pound. I have been looking for a dog for a long time and finally thought I found the one. Melo is a super smart sweet girl but she has a lot of behavioral issues. Melo has tore up my carpet my floors she eats everything off the floor or where ever . Melo knows drop it leave it and all the things but she refuses to listen . I work with her everyday for at least 2 hours walking training playing and I’m still not getting anywhere. I am a single mom doing this all on my own so I have to work and I come home and she has tore through my floor eaten things that can potentially be harmful . I can not afford huge vet bills and I know it could happen. I have tried endlessly to help Melo and train her properly I have even gotten outside help and still no luck . So I have come to a point where there is nothing else I can do and she has tore find a new home . Someone who can better suit her needs.

Phoenix! This lovely, squishy medium sized (maybe 55 lbs) girl is around 2-3 years old. She was originally adopted from us as a puppy but returned for not getting along with the other pets in the home. Phoenix should be an only pet in her new home, but is a lovely girl willing to give you all her love. She would benefit from a diet and losing a little weight. She is a great girl who is fully housebroken (but may have a few small accidents as she gets acclimated) and crate trained. She would be fine with older, school aged children.
