Willow is sweet and social. She loves playing with her foster siblings, both animal and human. She is exceedingly gentle but occasionally forgets just how big she is. This girl loves to run, tug and wrestle. After playing she enjoys a long nap on a couch. She most enjoys being with her people, and can often be found underfoot, despite her size. Willow can be shy at first and takes a little time to warm up in new situations. She does not respond well to raised voices or being pushed too quickly. She is however a very quick learner and responds exceedingly well to patience and calm training techniques. While large, she is still very much a puppy, prone to chewing and zoomies when she hasn’t had enough exercise or mental stimulation. She is working on being brave while walking on leash. She knows sit, down and paw. She is crate trained, house trained, and does well with other dogs and cats.

Meet Regina, aka Gigi! She is a sweet playful young dog who has a special knack for worming her way into your heart. Her journey into rescue started as a 8 week old puppy, she found a family for a while but was returned when they had changes in their home and could no longer provide a good home life for her.  Gigi loves to play with other dogs, and snuggle on the couch. She knows basic commands and has a special talent: knowing how to "smile"!  Gigi is full of personality and energy and would make the perfect companion for a family that wants a best friend for themselves or another dog. She is athletic and enjoys going for hikes or runs, but also walks politely, and is perfectly happy to just hang out around the couch.  This sweet girl is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and and has no health concerns. Meet Wesley, who comes to us from the Cabarrus County Animal Shelter. Wesley is a 1.5-year-old, 55 lb., Doberman / German Shepherd mix. He is such a loving boy, good with other dogs, and is extremely affectionate with kids. Wesley is housebroken, crate trained, loves to play, is good on outdoor recall off leash, loves to snuggle, and is overall very well behaved. He shows no signs of aggression. Wesley is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and is thriving in his foster home. Because he is so good with other dogs, he would do best in a home with other fur siblings.
