Story
Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Rooster is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. This handsome boy was found as a stray running out in the country. He is approximately 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds. He will probably weigh in the 60-pound range when fully grown. We are not sure of his breed mixture but think he may have some lab and Doberman in him. Rooster has a great personality and disposition. He loves all of the other rescue dogs, big and small. He loves people and will lie at your feet whenever he can. He loves water and the garden fountain is his favorite spot to hang out and keep cool. Rooster is a very sweet and goofy puppy. He is pretty much house-trained and runs to go outside with his buddies. He will need some leash training and would probably do better with a harness. We have no idea of how he is with cats. Rooster loves to run and play with his dog friends and toys. He may not be suitable for a home with small children because he may knock them over when running and playing. Rooster needs a fully fenced-in and secure yard. He will be a great dog for hiking or going to the dog park. He is an active boy and will run around the yard with a toy in his mouth playing tag with his buddies. He likes to be the leader and have everyone chase him. Rooster would do well either as an only dog or with other dogs. Rooster is a healthy and happy boy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, (DAPP, Bordatella, rabies, canine influenza), and microchipped. He is receiving monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Roosters' adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to the Pittsburgh area. Rooster is fostered by our friends at Shaggy Dog Rescue and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  I ntroducing Mallory, a stunning red girl with a heart full of love, approximately 3 years old and found as a stray. Mallory is a people-lover through and through, and she's ready to find her forever family! Whether it's romping around with a young puppy or simply coexisting with a senior, Mallory is adaptable. However, her ideal situation is being the only dog in the home, where she can bask in all the love and attention you have to offer. It's worth noting that Mallory isn't fond of cats and would prefer a feline-free environment. Described by her foster mom as having the perfect personality, Mallory shines brightest in an adult-only home. A smart girl who's eager to please, Mallory will thrive with continued training and consistent structure. But don't let her snuggly nature fool you - Mallory is also full of youthful energy and loves to play! She's a serial snuggler who believes personal space is overrated, whether she's curling up next to you on the couch or climbing into your lap. Plus, Mallory's low-maintenance lifestyle means she'll save you money on toys and bones - she's perfectly content with your love and affection! If Mallory sounds like the perfect fit for your home, especially if you're an experienced Doberman or working breed owner, don't hesitate to apply now at www.DUDobes.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Shasta is an energetic 2 year old girl that somehow wound up in a shelter.  It didn't take her long to make herself right at home with her foster mom!  Her sweet personality charms everyone she meets.  She loves people and people love her! Alert, energetic and inquisitive, Shasta has all the energy of a typical Doberman youngster.  She goes all out when she plays with the Dobermans in her foster home.  She's on the small side but has a big personality!  No need to rely on your Ring doorbell, Shasta will let you know when anything is going on outside.  S he has not been cat or small dog tested.  Shasta settles  nicely when it's time to chill, chewing on bones or snuggling up with her Doberman siblings for a nice nap. Forget sitting on the couch alone...this velcro girl will be right up there with you and she'll happily take all the love she can get.  An active family with older kids and/or larger dogs would be a great fit for Shasta.  She'll need a yard with a physical fence to give her a safe place to run and play.  She loves being with her people and will do best where she is not home alone for very long periods of time.  She's food motivated trains well, benefitting from structure and ongoing training.       Are you looking for a really fun, young Doberman?  Shasta may be your girl!  Apply now at www.DUDobes.org Doberman Underground adopts to Ohio and some close in parts of bordering states.   * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  Sponsor Me by purchasing: Toys / Treats $10.00 USDLeash & Collar $15.00 USDMonth of Food $35.00 USDMonthly Heartworm/Flea/Tick $40.00 USDTransportation Costs $60.00 USDVaccinations $100.00 USDSpay / Neuter $150.00 USDThyroid Panel $150.00 USDIncoming vetting $300.00 USDHeartworm Treatment $1,500.00 USD  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2024, 7:41 am
