Story
Stanley is a pure breed Doby with a cropped tail and ears. He is about 6 years old black with some brown. He is crate trained and friendly, but will bark at passer buyers walking down the street. Loves bones, but not rawhides (it gives him gas). He gets dry skin sometimes. So we keep him on a higher protein dog food with less filler. He loves attention. He always has to be near you. And sometimes he will rest is head on your lap. He needs a home where he will get the attention he needs.

Story
Hastiin-came in with her sonDoli is a 2-year old blue girl that has already overcome more than any dog ever should. When Doberman Underground rescued her from a shelter, she was in very rough shape—starved, weak, and covered in painful Demodex mange that had swollen her eyes shut and left her skin raw and inflamed. On top of that, she tested positive for heartworm. Her tiny, exhausted frame carried the weight of so much suffering. But through it all, Doli never gave up.  Today, thanks to months of nourishing food, gentle care, antibiotics, and the healing power of love, Doli is fully recovered and ready to start the next chapter of her life—with a family who sees her for the strong, beautiful soul she is. Doli is a classic “velcro" Doberman. The moment you reach out to pet her, no matter how busy or curious she is, she completely melts into your touch. She’s sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond with her people. She's great with dogs of all sizes and needs a playful canine companion in her adoptive home.  No cats and Doberman experience are needed to adopt her. She loves to stay active, but she also has a sensitive side and can be fearful in new situations, so young children would not be a good fit for her.  Because of her history on the run, a physically fenced yard is a must to help her feel safe and secure as she continues to thrive. Now that she’s been given a second chance, Doli is eager to learn, eager to love, and more than ready to find a forever family with Doberman experience so she can live her best life. Apply today to make Doli’s next chapter the best one yet.  www.DUdobes.org Doberman Underground adopts to Ohio and some close in parts of surrounding states.  Check the list of specific counties we adopt to at the top of our application before applying.   * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  Sponsor Me by purchasing: Toys / Treats $10.00 USDLeash & Collar $15.00 USDMonth of Food $35.00 USDMonthly Heartworm/Flea/Tick $40.00 USDTransportation Costs $60.00 USDVaccinations $100.00 USDSpay / Neuter $150.00 USDThyroid Panel $150.00 USDIncoming vetting $300.00 USDHeartworm Treatment $1,500.00 USD  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 12, 2025, 11:16 am

Story
Tulsa’s story started rough. She was found abandoned and left to fend for herself, but you’d never know it from the happy, wiggly, affectionate puppy she is today. Now safe in foster care, Tulsa is thriving — and she’s ready to find a family of her own. Tulsa adores people and has been wonderfully gentle with the 9- and 4-year-old kids in her foster home. She’s playful, snuggly, and wants nothing more than to be close to her humans or canine friends. Tulsa gets along beautifully with her Doberman foster siblings. She especially loves playing with the 4-year-old female and respectfully ignores the 5-year-old male who isn’t interested… though she does occasionally use him as a pillow when he’ll allow it! She loves dogs of all sizes, but her puppy energy can be a lot for more timid dogs. A confident canine companion who sets boundaries would be ideal. Dog-free homes are possible too, as long as she has regular playdates to burn off energy. Home Life & Manners Kennel trained: Sleeps quietly all night, no accidents. House manners: Takes food gently, waits politely for meals, responds well to redirection. Energy: Typical 9-month-old bursts of zoomies followed by excellent settling. Yard: Loves being outside! A fence is required to keep her safe from chasing squirrels and birds. Walks: Learning leash manners and enjoys exploring. Car rides: Getting more comfortable with each trip. Cats: Not a match — her prey drive is too high for feline friends.   Tulsa will thrive with an active adopter who can give her structure, enrichment, and lots of love. She’s affectionate, eager to learn, and bonds quickly. With consistency, playtime, and companionship, she’ll grow into an incredible lifelong partner. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, snuggly girl with a joyful spirit and so much potential, Tulsa could be the perfect match!  Apply today at www.DUdobes.org Doberman Underground adopts to Ohio and some close in parts of bordering states. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  Sponsor Me by purchasing: Toys / Treats $10.00 USDLeash & Collar $15.00 USDMonth of Food $35.00 USDMonthly Heartworm/Flea/Tick $40.00 USDTransportation Costs $60.00 USDVaccinations $100.00 USDSpay / Neuter $150.00 USDThyroid Panel $150.00 USDIncoming vetting $300.00 USDHeartworm Treatment $1,500.00 USD  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 13, 2025, 7:53 am

Story
Don’t tell Norman he’s 9 years old — this gorgeous red hunk has no idea! Norman is the perfect mix of energy, confidence, and sweetness. Whether he’s hiking trails, going for long walks, or just lounging on the couch snuggled up with his people (or canine buddies), Norman does it all with style and heart. He’s playful and athletic, yet also the ultimate cuddle companion when it’s time to relax. Norman already knows his basic obedience, making him a dream for first-time Doberman owners or anyone looking for an easy, well-mannered addition to the family. This handsome guy needs a home with a physically fenced yard where he can stretch those long legs. He’s great with other dogs but no cats, please! Because Norman doesn’t always realize his size, we recommend a home without toddlers. And here’s something special — if you’re 70 or older, you and Norman qualify for our SOS (Seniors Owning Seniors) Program, which covers the cost of his medications, prescription foods, heartworm prevention, and annual vet visits. Not a senior yourself? No problem! Norman is available for pre-approved adopters of all ages who are ready to welcome this loving, lively boy into their hearts and homes.
