Story
I’m a beautiful 2-year-old Doberman with a soft heart 💜, a silly personality, and enough love to fill an entire couch. I absolutely adore people. When I first meet someone, I might take a minute to decide if you’re friend-shaped, but once I do, you’re stuck with me forever 💕 I’m the kind of girl who loves snuggling up next to you while you watch TV, preferably as close as physically possible. Personal space is just a suggestion, right? 🫣 I also love other dogs 🐾 Honestly, having dog friends makes me feel brave. If I have a buddy by my side, I’m ready to tackle life’s big adventures like walking through a doorway I’ve never seen before or investigating that suspicious leaf blowing across the yard 🍃👀 When I’m not cuddling, you can usually find me wrestling with my dog friends, zooming 💨 through the dog door like I’m training for the Olympics, or searching the house for snacks, specifically beef sticks 😋 My foster says I’m very smart 🧠, which is great news because I already suspected I was a genius. I learn quickly, I’m house-trained, crate-trained, good on leash, and I don’t destroy things. I prefer to keep my talents focused on being adorable rather than redecorating your home 😇 I can be a little submissive, and sometimes new situations make me pause and think things through, but I’m getting more confident every day. Having kind humans and dog friends around helps me remember that the world is actually a pretty wonderful place ❤️ What I’m looking for is simple. A family who will laugh at my giant airplane ears ✈️🙃 A couch with room for one snuggly Doberman 🛋️ A pocket full of beef sticks 🐄 And maybe a dog friend 🐾🐾 or two to help me feel brave while I continue learning that life is pretty amazing 🤩 What you get in return. I promise to provide endless love, top-tier cuddles, professional zoomies, and entertainment whenever my ears catch a strong breeze 🌬️ One final note 🎵 I know my ears look like they could fly me wherever I need to go, but unfortunately they are for decorative purposes only. They are excellent for listening though. I listen to commands, I listen when you tell me I’m a good girl, and I will even listen to all your problems after a long day. Honestly, I’m a pretty great listener 💕 The point I’m trying to make is that transportation is available because, despite appearances, these ears are not FAA certified. So if you’ve got room for one sweet Doberman, I’m ready for takeoff immediately ✈️ If you’ve made it this far and you’re smiling ☺️ we might already be a perfect match. Go ahead and apply for me before somebody else realizes how awesome I am!

HIHELLOHIGUESSWHATITSME 🙃☕☕☕☕ I’m Lucy Goosey and I have had EXACTLY FOUR ESPRESSO SHOTS and WOW I CAN SEE SOUND. Okay. Focus. Deep breaths. Just kidding I don’t do deep breaths. I came in as a stray on 2/18/26 which is WILD because clearly I belong somewhere with a backyard the size of a small continent. They think I’m about 3 years old but spiritually I am a caffeinated Olympic athlete with zoomies scheduled every 12 minutes. Let’s discuss my talents: 🏃‍♀️ Running. 🏃‍♀️ Running faster. 🏃‍♀️ Running because I thought about running. I could absolutely win “Most Energetic Dog Ever in the History of Energy.” I would like room to run, stretch my legs, perform interpretive dance, and possibly invent a new sport called Competitive Lap Jumping. Speaking of laps — WHAT IS PERSONAL SPACE? I’ve never heard of her. If you sit down, congratulations, you are now a Lucy Chair™. I will be in your lap. On your shoulder. Possibly gently standing on your soul with love. I have never met a stranger. If you exist? We’re best friends. If you breathe? I love you. If you blink? I missed you. I do know how to sit. I promise. I REALLY DO. But sometimes my brain goes, “SIT!” and my body goes, “PARTY!” and then we are both just very excited about everything. With practice (and maybe treat-based negotiations), I can absolutely demonstrate my academic achievements. TREATS. I love them. All of them. Crunchy? Yes. Soft? Yes. Suspiciously shaped? YES. I am not picky. If it’s edible, I support it. I am a very happy girl. Like… aggressively happy. If happiness had a mascot, it would be me sprinting in a circle. If you are prepared for: ✔️ Unlimited enthusiasm ✔️ Lap invasions ✔️ Olympic-level zoomies ✔️ A best friend who thinks you are the greatest invention since squirrels Then please apply immediately at the illustrious Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield. 📞 419-774-5892 📧 dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov It is an application process, which is good, because I have VERY HIGH ENERGY and you should be prepared. HURRY. I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE AND IT IS BOUNCING. OKAY BYE GOTTA RUN AGAIN 🐾💨

Meet Nova — the girl with the big presence! 🌟 At just 6 months old and 44 lbs., Nova may be the smallest of her litter of five, but don’t let that fool you—she naturally steps into a leadership role among her siblings. She’s expected to be a medium-sized dog once fully grown. Nova is a little more reserved at first, but once she warms up, her sweet, gentle nature shines. Her shiny black coat paired with her rich mahogany markings makes her absolutely stunning. Nova, her momma, and her siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets in a rural Texas town until a kind couple took them in and gave them safety and care. Now Nova is ready for her next chapter—a loving forever family to call her own. Meet Buster – a sweet, not so graceful pup ! (Buster is currently living with his foster family in Texas, he will be transported through PFR when he is adopted) Buster is a handsome pup with a wonderfully laid-back personality. This sweet boy is a bit of a gentle goof—sometimes clumsy, always endearing—and he’s guaranteed to make you smile. He loves to wrestle and play with one of his brothers, but when it’s time to relax, Buster is happy to just hang out and soak up affection. Buster is currently working on his basic commands and is eager to learn with a patient, loving family. He, his momma, and siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets of a small rural Texas town until a kind couple took them in and gave them safety and care. Now Buster is ready for a forever home where he can continue to grow, learn, and be loved. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing pup with a big heart and a silly side, Buster may be your perfect match.
