Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet old Tanner and his buddy Niko have been with us since March of 2015 when their human momma suddenly passed away. Niko was a very scared boy who needed Tanner for his emotional support to survive in this scary world and we decided to keep both boys in our rescue as Niko was not adoptable.    When Niko passed away at old age of 15 at the end of 2022 Tanner was released of his noble duties to protect his friend. He looked for Niko for a few days but eventually moved on.   Tanner is 13 years old now and has paid his dues. We would love for him to find his forever home where he can be loved and cared for until his time comes. He so deserves it after all the good he has done for Niko.    Tanner is great with other dogs, people and children. He loves car rides, is fantastic on the leash and wants to spend his days hanging out on the couch or lounging outside on a chair when the weather is nice.    Please consider giving this amazing senior boy a home. If you are not ready to adopt we would love to place him in a foster home as well. But keep in mind that due to his age this would most likely be a permanent foster home.
