Meet Rubin 💙Rubin is a 2-year-old, 70 lb Dobie looking for an active family to call his own.He’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being around people, especially children.- Professionally trained with over two years of daily reinforcement- House and crate trained- Knows basic obedience plus advanced commands like heel and “enough” (during meals)- Neutered, fully vaccinated, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention- High-energy and thrives with regular exercise- Successfully lives with a small Yorkie, though he can be overly enthusiastic and occasionally needs reminders to respect other dogs’ spaceWe’re making this decision because our situation has changed, not because of Rubin. We moved from a home with a huge yard in CA to a much smaller home in the DMV and simply can’t give him the lifestyle he craves and deserves.Rubin comes with his crate, bed, toys, training equipment, and vet records. We’re in no rush and are committed to finding the right home!

This adorable spirited little boy and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Barnabas is a gentle little boy, but dose love to run and play with other dogs. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own.
