They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Blair is a gentle little girl, but does love to run and play with other dogs. She has done amazing with her house and crate training. She is so deserving of a wonderful home to call her own. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Story
Orion is a great dog with a great personality. He can't have toys, bones, or be around people when he eats breakfast or dinner since he has possession aggression. He gets along with dogs he knows. He seems to have sun-downers and will get a more anxiety at night. He is a perfect dog for someone without kids and some land who has experience with semi aggressive dogs and can manage him. He is crate trained and loves his crate, if there's company you can put him in another room in a crate and he'll be happy. He is the most happy loving and smart dog most the time and when he gets in a mood it's easy to tell and just have him go to his room. He has bitten me but wasn't painful. My wife and I are having a baby and are forced to re-home him or put him down. Let me know if you're interested and you can meet him and we can go over everything about him and you can give him a trial period. We currently have a date of July 1 to put him down if we are unable to re-home.

Story
From the moment he walked into our Shelter, he was assigned the most loving of nicknames - Kobe the Dobie. And, wow, do we ever love him. He has a commanding presence, one that makes you do a double-take. But as soon as he approaches you, you know that you have a friend in Kobe.Kobe is 5-years-old and weighs in at just a smidge over 100 pounds. He is strong on a leash, but has excellent manners and listens very well. One of the most charming characteristics of Kobe is what makes him cry - like after getting his vaccines. Or when he sees you on the other side of the fence and wants so badly to come see you - and he doesn't realize his gate is open and he just has to walk around it to come say hello. Or when he sees a small dog at the vet and just knows they would make great playmates.Kobe was an owner surrender - the family circumstances changed and Kobe's needs could no longer be met. While in the home, Kobe enjoyed cats (like didn't even mind being their resting place) and older kids. He knows the usual tricks but can also dance - as if he owned the place.Kobe is a perfect reminder to not judge a book by it's cover - or it's size. He is as gentle as they come and only wants to become your next friend. If you are looking for fabulous friend and a loyal companion, please come meet Kobe - he is a rare gem that will only enrich your heart!Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton. Open daily between 9AM and noon, including weekends and holidays.Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
